AMA Supercross Championship

Bought the game a week ago, hoping for, at the very least, a small glimpse of what made me love Excitebike 64 back in the day. What I got was a AAA (if you can call it that) game with the worst visuals so far on the Switch, with abysmal textural quality, a sub-20 fps framerate, extremely complicated controls, wonky physics, loading times so long you'll think the game has crashed, and an incredibly slow button response when on menus. All that for 59.99... Make your wallet proud, stay away from it!

Is anyone here playing? I bought it on PS4 and would like to discuss. I can't find any forums for the game, so I thought my best bet would be to post here.

Last year's MXGP 3 port from Milestone was a disaster, and now that actual Switch footage of Monster Energy Supercross is starting to hit, it seems like nothing has changed.

• No online mode, again

• No local multiplayer

• No track deformation, again

• Recycles the same stiff, outdated physics engine from the earlier PS3/360 games (again!)

• Track editor is missing

• Less CPU opponents in each race than every other version

• Runs at sub-native resolution docked at a chugging frame rate, will likely be borderline unplayable in portable mode just like MXGP 3

• Painfully long loading times (nearly two minutes for the first track alone)

• Graphics are horrendous in general

Do not support this game; Milestone have made it clear they don't give a shit about putting in effort with the Switch. They're charging the same amount of money for this version as PS4/XB1 despite having most of the gameplay features and options removed.

The track editor, a new physics engine and improved handling/interaction with the environment was a big selling point of this game, and NONE of that has made it to the Switch version.
