Group in Allegheny County is de-registering voters.

EDIT: The group de-registering Allegheny County voters is in Washington County. This process is probably happening in many other counties throughout the state. Please be sure that you are registered to vote. You can verify your registration online.

EDIT 2: There is an explanation from u/MPA_Dad about the process for de-registering voters at this link.

This came up in the Pittsburgh subreddit, and I wanted to make sure that others in the state are aware of an organized campaign to de-register voters in Allegheny County. Be sure to check your voter registration before the upcoming primary.

The post on the Pittsburgh subreddit is available, lots of information about how this is potentially illegal.

Intellectually disabled teen girl raped by 3 teen boys. Allegheny County DA declined to file charges

This situation is just haunting, vile, and I’m particularly baffled by the decision not to charge the boys. Anyone have any idea why?

Edit: happened in Pittsburgh in 2022. The mother is suing Starbucks, which is where the rape occurred, likely due to the DA’s decision NOT to charge the boys. Infuriating.
