Pujols has an .888 OPS with the Dodgers in 19 games so far. 5 home runs in 60 PA. It’s kind of bizarre to watch, since he looks like his old, creaky self.

Now, its obviously a small sample size and he’s not going to keep this up, but holy hell does Friedman know what he’s doing. Even if Pujols is “only” capitalizing on mistakes, that’s far more than guys like DJ Peters and Luke Raley were doing.

It feels like Pujols could go 0 for his next 30 and this still would have been worth it.
