Esmu airBaltic pilots un airBaltic pilotu akadēmijas absolvents, AMA.

Hey!

Questions in English are also welcome.

airBaltic

Hello!

I have a flight coming up soon, to Helsinki. I have two options: either a direct flight to Helsinki with Norwegian Air Shuttle, or a flight with airBaltic with a layover in Riga. The latter is cheaper.

I'd like to ask for your opinions on airBaltic. Is it a good airline? From what I see, they seem great - it's your flag carrier, and no serious accidents have occured. But still, I'd like to hear from you.

Edit: flying from Sofia (SOF)

  • pirms vēl kāds viņai pazvanīja, viņu lūdza ierakstīt vairākus video atbildot uz dažādiem jautājumiem (tā saukto one-way interview)

Bitcoin is the currency of the Internet: a distributed, worldwide, decentralized digital money. Unlike traditional currencies such as dollars, bitcoins are issued and managed without any central authority whatsoever: there is no government, company, or bank in charge of Bitcoin. As such, it is more resistant to wild inflation and corrupt banks. With Bitcoin, you can be your own bank.

airBaltic pilots, how old is too late to change careers and start the academy?

Hi. Question for airBaltic pilots. In your opinion, how old is too old to become a pilot and start the airBaltic Pilot academy? How difficult is it for someone to make a complete career change from a non aviation industry to flying commercial?

What do you think about it ? Personally, I hope more airlines will take example and start being more inclusive. Tattoos and piercings aren't unprofessional or gross (as long as they're clean.. obviously).
