[Rogue One] Admiral Raddus already being gone is the greatest moment in all of Star Wars.

I cannot think of a single moment in my 36 years of life that has gotten me out of my seat as much as the fact that Raddus was ALREADY GONE by the time the rebellion realized rogue one was hitting Scariff.

The Mon Calamari. Name a more underrated race in taking down the empire. I'll fucking wait.

What Admiral Raddus said in Rogue One really got to me

At the end of Rogue One right as the Death Star appears and fires on the base on Scarif the camera goes to Admiral Raddus in his ship and he says, "Rogue One, may the Force be with you" and closes his eyes to let out a brief sigh before order the fleet to flee.

I don't know if anyone else experienced this but in those quick seconds of Raddus sighing I felt what he felt: a sense sadness. Raddus is an old man, born 33 years before the Phantom Menace takes place, and has sure as hell seen quite a few battles (most likely as a result of the Clone Wars) and has probably seen men and women die from these battles.

However in this quick moment, Raddus shows us the true nature of a war like this. With the exception of Chirrut Îmwe and Baze Malbus the Rogue One squad was comprised of foot soldiers with no real memories of the Republic. Hell, Cassian--the third oldest in the squad--was only 7 when the Republic was reorganized into the Empire and was raised as a child soldier fighting against the Republic in support of the Confederacy. (Sorry I seem to be getting off topic)

Anyways, the reason this quick take of Raddus got to me was that he understood that a majority of the rebels who had died on Scarif were too young to remember the Republic and yet they gave their lives for it. This scene reminded me that this isn't just a typical Star Wars-esque film, it's a war movie and war is tragic.

In "Rogue One" (2016), admiral Raddus orders the ship, "Lightmaker" to ram a Star Destroyer, destroying it. In "The Last Jedi " (2017), a ship of his namesake , the "Raddus" is used to ram and destroy the First Order's Flagship, "Supremacy".

Best Admiral Raddus team?

I’ve been watching videos on this team, but everything seems to be from early theory crafting or initial gameplay.

Now that he’s been in the game for a bit (and because I’ll be leveling him and some of his faction for profundity), what is his best team turning out to be?

My initial plan was to use as many of his reqs as possible and go Raddus, Jyn, Bistan, Cassian, and K2. But that team doesn’t have a buff dispel, which seems like a major weak spot. How important is that in this team?

Which 5 are people having success with? (Either for offense, defense, or both.)

Help! I don’t want to waste resources on the wrong characters!

Admiral Raddus Viability in LSGTB

I know a lot of late-game players are gearing up for Profundity and many probably already have a Relic 9 Raddus and high-relic other Rogue One toons.

I am curious if any of you do have such a squad have given them a go in LSGTB, and if so, how they fared. And if in fact you did give that squad a go, other than AR, Jyn, and (probably) Cassian, who else did you include on the squad?

And finally, if the Cassian Omi turns out to be a TB Omi... gonna get it?

Shower Thought: Luke probably blew up Admiral Raddus

In Rogue One, when the Empire captured the rebel cruiser, they most likely imprisoned the remaining rebels aboard the Death Star since it was right there. And since A New Hope takes place right after that, there’s a good chance Luke’s torpedoes would’ve taken them all out (if they’d existed as characters yet, of course).

What's the best mix between Mon Mothma and Admiral Raddus?

Considering that they both are largely powered by Rebel Fighters, which route do you chose between the two Second Tier Rebel Leaders. For fun's sake, let's assume that the entire rebel faction has decent to good mods, all are Relic 5, aside for the requirements that go beyond for any GL's and GL Ships, like Cassian who would be Relic 8, Raddus would be Relic 9. Let's also assume that all zetas are either fully equipped or can readily be equipped.
