I've tried emailing a handful of luthiers around the area and haven't gotten any responses. I trust myself for basic repair work, but I've got some upgrades I'd like to make to an eight string, and I'd like someone with real knowledge and experience to handle it.
Does anyone have any recommendations for luthiers that might have experience with extended range, multi-scale guitars?

I'm moving to to the Kennesaw/Acworth area and I'm trying to find the best way to meet people and make friends there? I'm 28F and my bf is 26M. Wondering if there are any pages or forums for events? I sing and play guitar (some strum / some fingerpick) a Friday morning set of folk, country, pop covers at the Acworth Farmers' Market (8a-12p). This is a tips-only gig that I play for the fun of it.
I've got a fantastic drummer playing a stripped down kit and I'm hoping to fill the sound out with a bass player. Upright bass, acoustic bass, U-Bass, are all great. Electric bass is a possibility, but I'm playing through a battery operated PA (Roland BA-330) and there is no onsite power for your pedals or preamp.

A male parakeet was found at Acworth Elementary School this morning. The vice principal called around to local animal hospitals, and got in contact with my wife and we agreed to hold onto him and help try to find his owners. He is mostly green and yellow, and appears to be fully-filghted. Very calm/tame, but was very hungry when we got him back to our house so we don't know how long he has been out. He has a bird band. Please message me for picture, more info or if you know the owners.

My brother works at the Publix in Governor's Square in Acworth. So far there have been 5 cases of COVID. Two in bakery, one in the deli, and two in customer service.
Avoid that one if possible.
