I only find reviews from people that didn't actually played it, but only read it.
My interest is two-fold: On one hand I enjoy reading RPG-source books, without any plans to play them, on the other I'm looking for a new scenario to GM with my group.
It's a long standing group which uses a home brewed and often modified Excel-based system exclusively, so I'm more interested in stories and pacing than in the provided rule system.
One recuring favourite theme is fighting Nazis that are even more dangerous and perverted than actual Nazis where, so Achtung!Cthulhu is a no brainer - I'm just not sure whether Shadows of Atlantis is the right campaign to start.

I have just learned that Modiphius, before converting to their own d20, system released an updated version of Achtung Cthulhu which changed things from the 6th into the 7th ed Call of Cthulhu system. Does anyone have any inkling where to find them since they have been removed from sale officially?

Hello
Does anyone know if there gonna be the 2nd edition of Achtung Cthulhu skirmish game by Modiphius?
The game looks extremely cool but seems to be dead, and with the recent release of 2d20 Achtung! Cthulhu rpg I was wondering if there will be a revival of miniature one as well.

My friends and I have been enjoying CoC for a couple years now, really getting into the world and loving it. When we heard about Achtung Cthulhu, we loved the idea of kicking Nazi ass while saving the world from Eldritch horrors! We picked up the quick start guide, but soon into it we found that we just don't like the 2d20 system. It isn't bad, but compared to the d100 or even a regular d20 system from D&D it just feels weird.
I was curious if anyone had any advice on how to convert the system to fit a CoC d100 style, or if there was an official version that uses d100s already made. I know I saw there was at one point, but some sort of copyright issue ended that. Can anyone help or have any advice?
Edit: I would like to say thank you to all those helping me. As always, this is probably one of the best communities in the TTRPG world for how everyone always has ideas or suggestions. Thank you, and please feel free to suggest more advice!

So after all my musings on what to run as a long term game for my players, they decided on Achtung! Cthulhu.
My question is how much work is it to update from the previous edition to SWADE? Also, is there still a site that sells the Shadows of Atlantis for SW?
Or am I better of just running the new 2d20 now.
That leads me to Another question - how does SW compare to 2d20 - especially in regards to A!C?
*Bonus Question - which system has the easiest/quickest character creation?

After a long hiatus, I have decided to return to "Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition".I am planning a "Oneshot" around the Concept of "Die Glocke", a hypothetical Nazi Wonderweapon that, in it's description, is oddly-similar to the colour out of space in an armoured casing. But I can, for the love of god, not figure "Achtung! Cthulhu" out. I bought both base Achtung Cthulhu books, and read both of them, but I actually do not seem more aware of it's rules.Aside from my personal incompetence (which I do not rule out), it seems that the main issue is that the books are poorly organized. While they seem to give a good overview for "military force organization" during the second world war, the actual "crunch" gets lost.To even find out what half of the new skills do, one has to shift through both the Keeper and the Investigator Books (which at times cross-reference each other), though they are not comprehensively collected anywhere. There are cases in which the explanation of certain skills gets buried under tidbits of "Weird War 2" Lore, in the form of a short subclause. This is imO the crux of the books from an "Expansion Pack" Point-of-View. Everything is shock-full with fluff, both historical and weird, to the degree that most chapters are not about one specific topic dealing with the actual gameplay. Even theoretically straight forward chapters (such as character creation) are full of unnecessary bloat and fluff.
This is not to say that the Idea, or even the gameplay, is bad. Skills like "Verhalten im Gelände" and the more specialized military skills - for combat, but especially otherwise, such as "Telefonie" - are a very welcome addition, I'd just like to be able to find specific explanations of the more esoteric/specific skills, instead of a 5 Page explanation about Thule-Metal and Space Nazis.

Hello, lovely Nintendo Switch people!
My name is Mike and I am a Producer . I've been working on Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics for the Nintendo Switch which came out yesterday
The game is a is a tactical, squad-based strategy game set against the backdrop of World War Two, as a band of Allied heroes fight The Secret War against two rival Nazi factions. These detestable syndicates are obsessed with the occult, and are backed by otherworldly horrors from the Cthulhu Mythos...
Here's our launch trailer:

I really want to do an Indiana Jones game, or other pulp genre material from world war 2.
What are some pitfalls for the setting itself?
Any advice from people who have used the setting and material?
