“The Mandela Effect is when a large group of people remember something contrary to the known publicly accepted fact” Do you remember certain personal or world events happening differently than they apparently did? Some people remember the death of Mandela as far back as the 1970's in prison. This is where the effect gets its name. Share your experiences here!

So the monopoly man is the Mandela effect that’s one of the more mind blowing for me, as I spent countless hours playing this game and fighting over the characters at my grandparents house when I was a kid. We are watching ace Ventura tonight and in a party scene he keeps referring to a bald man in a black suit and a monocle as the monopoly character!!! Just further confirmation that the monocle timeline is the cool one :)

[US] Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995) - Ace travels to the jungles of Africa to recover a rare white bat. But if he fails, a war with the violent Wachootoo tribe is sure to follow.

TIL that the movie "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls" is the only sequel to a Jim Carrey movie to actually feature Jim Carrey

I(33M) haven’t seen this movie since I was a child, and watched it again yesterday. I am absolutely blown away by how many breath takingly classic and hilarious moments are in it.

From “the wonderful room of death” to “you must be the monopoly man” to “the rhino birth” to “knife on a plate torture” to “Ekwensu Ocha” to “ITS IN THE BONE” to “the cigarette lighter in the car”

My god, there’s an entire careers worth of jokes in this movie

Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls is a more enjoyable movie than Pet Detective.

Now, let me start by saying I absolutely love both of these films. I grew up with and have seen them dozens of times, possibly more. With that said, allow me to elaborate.

Ultimately, I feel that Pet Detective is the all-round better movie of the two. However, I think that When Nature Calls is an easier movie to watch at any given time of the day and is funnier and more quotable than the original.

I remember enjoying the sequel growing up more than it's predecessor, purely for the reasons given above. Rewatching both movies as an adult many years later, I can come to the conclusion that Pet Detective is the 'better' movie and should be rated as such. I also stick firm with my (unpopular) opinion that When Nature Calls is the more 'enjoyable' movie with just as many, if not more, memorable moments. I.e mechanical rhino birth of a man!

Please leave you're feedback, it'll be mighty appreciated. Alllllrighty then! Take care now, bye bye then!!

The Source Filmmaker (SFM) is the movie-making tool built and used by Valve to make movies inside the Source game engine. Because the SFM uses the same assets as the game, anything that exists in the game can be used in the movie, and vice versa. By utilizing the hardware rendering power of a modern gaming PC, the SFM allows storytellers to work in a what-you-see-is-what-you-get environment so they can iterate in the context of what it will feel like for the final audience.

Ace Ventura When Nature Calls is better than the original

Basically what the title says. The second film is much funnier and better in almost every way than the original first film.

Everyone I’ve talked to says the first one is better because it’s not as outlandish as the second one. The whole idea of “Pet Detective” is outlandish, the second one plays into how stupid and absurd the idea is, and I love it.
