To avoid any confusion please note: this is not the firearm being sought in connection with the killing of Odin Lloyd, whose murder Hernandez has already been charged with. This weapon was used in the 2012 shooting of Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado, a crime Hernandez is being investigated for allegedly being connected to.

Update 2: The Patriots have released a statement.

"A young man was murdered last week and we extend our sympathies to the family and friends who mourn his loss. Words cannot express the disappointment we feel knowing that one of our players was arrested as a result of this investigation. We realize that law enforcement investigations into this matter are ongoing. We support their efforts and respect the process. At this time, we believe this transaction is simply the right thing to do."

Update 3: The NFL has released a statement:

"The involvement of an NFL player in a case of this nature is deeply troubling. The Patriots have released Aaron Hernandez, who will have his day in court. At the same time, we should not forget the young man who was the victim in this case and take this opportunity to extend our deepest sympathy to Odin Lloyd's family and friends."

Update 4: Per Adam Schefter, Aaron Hernandez has been charged with murder.

Now they’re blaming Bill for Aaron Hernandez being a murderer? Am I the only one getting a bad taste in my mouth from this documentary?

“The Dynasty” is basically just a puff piece for the Krafts, and another avenue for them to crap on Bill. I think it’s a bad look. Jonathan Kraft sounds like the prototypical rich, entitled son. Robert just sounds scripted. The players actually come off well. Anyway, I just wanted to see what other Pats fans were thinking about this.

Why does the podfather never talk about Aaron Hernandez

I’ve always been so perplexed by this, this is his ultimate wheelhouse. A celebrity murderer committing these acts while playing with Brady and Belichick during the second half of the pats dynasty!??!? Anytime this topic was brought up on his pods he was verrryyyy quick to dismiss it. Meanwhile he loves to talk about OJ any time he can. Is he butthurt that it was a Patriot? Is there a contract on his head if he speaks on it? Make it make sense! Good job by you!!!
