Basically it was a Scooby Doo series that focused on Scooby and the gang as kids and it’s actually pretty fun with the gang aged down it actually allows the writers to up the high jinks so it’s not limited to just Shaggy and Scooby as per usual
Now Shaggy and Scooby are essentially the same just younger
Fred is pretty fun here believing in almost every conspiracy theory ever and having the most absurd conclusions and always blames Red Herring get it
Daphne is basically the skeptic of the group and serves as a comedic straight-man
Velma is just very adorable and by far the best character in the show

It's the special kind of escapism I like as a 24-year-old adult graduating college. All the characters are charming with refreshing personalities, the humor and style is cute and funny, I love all the musical acapella montages and the hand-drawn animation feels nostalgic
This has been on my mind for decades but I guess I never vocalized it. You ever watch a pup named Scooby-Doo? A lot of the villians were just pallete swaps of the same model (kind of like subzero, scorpion and reptile in the 90s mortal combat games). Like the cheese monster, goo monster etc... were the same sprite just colored different. Even as a <10 year old I thought Scooby-Doo doesn't do this really.... anyone else notice this?
