I'm not sure why I'm creating this post. After desperately trying to go around the restriction by using a VPN and 3 different launchers, I decided to do a little search in google, and it felt uncanny when I found that no posts have been created on this topic.
You see, the process of getting an actual Minecraft account in Iran is a bit complicated and people usually just rather play on 3rd-party launchers and cracked servers instead of buying an account for an unreasonable price (it's not exactly your typical 20 bucks over here lol). But I was lucky to see through Minecraft's simplicity and I absolutely fell in love with the game, so I decided to get an account just so I could experience it to the fullest.
I just thought I'd make a post in Reddit so if a fellow Iranian were to search for the same topic, at least they would see one post from Reddit pop up. I wish this restriction doesn't turn out to be a permanent one because frankly, that would just be unfair, and we already see enough unfair over here.
