Cheyenne Hill, 34, was found guilty of neglect, which led to 20-month-old Elliaunna Plummer dying on November 26, 2022, by a jury in Lawrence County in February. Judge John Plummer III sentenced her to 30 years in prison on Tuesday and told the court: 'This is a sad case, very sad.' Elliaunna was rushed to hospital in 2022 suffering from a brain bleed, broken collarbone and bruises to her head and face. Her mother was arrested and formally charged in September 2023 as police opened an investigation into her death.

Brendan Depa, 18, was just 17 when he was caught on video pummeling a teacher's aide , Joan Naydich, at Matanzas High School after she requested another teacher take away his gaming console. Depa was arrested and charged as an adult with aggravated battery on a school employee, a first-degree felony carrying a potential sentence of 30 years behind bars. The teen filed a request for due process hearing under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act on April 24. It asks for a determination that Flagler County Public Schools' actions before and after February 2023 led to the 'violent incident' to which Depa pleaded no contest. The teen's attorneys argue that school employees were aware of his 'disabilities, triggers and problem behaviors,' as well as other incidents where he was disciplined for spitting, shoving an aide, 'harassing and intimidating the school staff' and shouting at one of his teachers. The attack left Naydich with five broken ribs, a concussion and hearing loss.

His investigations prompted an FBI raid on his home in November 2022. However, Arnu has only continued his investigations - and believes there's more to be discovered. The webmaster said he suspects military technology like drones and unmanned warplanes are being tested at Area 51. However, the tests are being conducted under even greater secrecy, at a 'base within a base' that is only visible to those with their own satellite.

A 13-year-old boy has finally found a 'holy grail' Lego plastic octopus piece 26 years that disappeared into the sea from a shipping container in the 1990s. Liutauras Cemolonskas said, after two years of searching, he was 'happy' to have found the rare octopus, which was one of nearly five million pieces of Lego that fell into the sea in 1997 when a cargo ship encountered a storm. Lego fan Liutauras has collected almost 800 pieces of Lego that fell into the sea.
