Why does it feel like The Roku Channel is a graveyard for old cable shows?

The Roku Channel has some interesting recommendations. But they're rarely original content from Roku. Most times they're shows that were eventually canceled by cable TV networks from back in the day.

I'm Tyler Falbo, I partnered with Bill Burr and All Things Comedy to create Immoral Compass, a dark comedy anthology series for The Roku Channel starring Bill Burr, Vince Vaughn, Bobby Lee, Mary Lynn Rajskub, David Dastmalchian, and many others. No, you don't need a Roku to watch The Roku Channel. It's an app that you can get on many TV's, Amazon firestick, or you can just watch it on your phone or your computer.

Basically what the title says. Im trying my absolute darnest to avoid subscriptions entirely. i know there's already quite a few free tv apps, and they've been alright so far. but im wondering if the roku channel might be worth it on its own? afaik its not available on non-roku devices.

In case anyone was looking for a better option than Pluto to stream it on, I just found it on the Roku channel last night. It’s missing about 20 episodes total but (for me) the app works so much better.

If you have a Roku the Roku channel has seasons 1-present

Producers of TLC’s hit reality series 90 Day Fiance are looking to put a new spin on their “finding love off the beaten path” theme with new show Love After Lockup. The series will document couples in which one (or more?) partner is currently behind bars, but soon to be released.

Bunkies! If you’re trapped wherever and have access to a Roku they have all the early seasons on the Roku channel!

I know a lot of people joined later in the series and have had a hard time finding access to the beginning of our beloved train wreck.

ETA: sorry Bunkies, I got to excited I didn’t throughly investigate. It looks like season 1 is available then they have the other seasons via All Black. But they do have a link to get a free 7 day trial.
