Just rewatching season 2 again. S02E01 was AMAZING. Alex Kurtzman directed it. It was an amazing well written and directed and acted episode.

Do yourself a favor and rewatch season 2 episode 1. it was amazing. Alex made me, a straight man, have a man crush on Pike. The actor playing Pike deserves an Emmy IMO. A great performance. He stole the Season and someone finally outshined Bernam's character. :-) Which is a good thing.

I also noticed ALl the acting was amazing in the second season. Till was slimmer, and her acting was amazing in the scene where she said "I don't want you to go". :-) And when she was crushing all over Pike in that other scene was also amazing and well done. This episode was a great example of a director who reshoots until the scene is perfectly accurate in its portrayal. I see a lot of directors lets some scenes go by even when it was not very well performed. this episode was perfect in all ways.

Great job Alex Kurtzman. You are now up there with Jonathan Frakes IMO. I was sleeping on you as a director, but s02e01 was well done sir.
