Welcome to the subreddit for the documentary Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV - a docu-series that uncovers the toxic culture behind some of the most iconic children’s shows of the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Alan thicke made a cameo appearance in an episode of how I met your mother. The premise of the episode is a Canadian children's show that is filled with sexual innuendo. I cant remember if the host of this show (robin sparkles & jessica glitter) are underage at the time. They're depicted as playing with a joystick that is clearly supposed to be Alan thickes penis...
curiously he signed a letter of support for a child sex predator who worked on children's shows filled with innuendo. Thoughts? Did anyone pick up on this?
For people who feel gaslighted by the mainstream opinion of an adjudged abuser with a history of violence.

It’s a 3-day galactic space trip. Robin’s beaver devours 6 inches of wood every 30 minutes and Jessica’s beaver devours 8 inches of wood every 45 minutes. There are 4,320 minutes in 3 days. Robin’s beaver will devour 6 inches 144 times for a total of 864 inches. Jessica’s beaver will devour 8 inches 96 times for a total of 768 inches. So, together their beavers will need 1,632 inches of wood.

For pre-1980 or so TV shows -- but not the usual Lucy or *Gunsmoke* reruns. This subreddit is for the ephemeral TV programs of the pre-VCR era -- the stuff no one ever expected to see again: newscasts, local kiddie shows and horror movie hosts, live TV dramas, game shows, soap operas, teen dance parties... Oh, and kinescopes. Lots and LOTS of kinescopes.
