Spotify responded yesterday, that they will not implement AirPlay 2 in to the app in the foreseeable future and closed the idea. Oh Spotify how big of a hole are you digging for yourselves? No native HomePod support, no Airplay 2...

EDIT: Spotify now claims that it is indeed working on the feature, thanks everyone for the comments, thus making it enough interesting for macrumors to pick up. Source

Curious if anyone else is having issues with AirPlay streaming (won’t work) with app? I have an LG OLED as my living room TV, which Bally does not support with an actual app on the TV (which is nuts in itself) so I’ve been forced to cast hockey games via Airplay from my phone or iPad when watching in my living room. When the app first launched I had a ton of airplay issues but everything seemed to get fixed with updates to the app over the first few months.

Just over the past week I am no longer able to cast via airplay anymore on any TV regardless of the TV operating system. I’ve isolated the issue to the Bally app by streaming via Airplay a number of other apps from my phone to tv (YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, and others).

Has anyone successfully been able to AirPlay the audio playing on Apple Vision Pro?

When I’m watching something, I bring up Control Center and see the Now Playing control showing with the AirPlay button. Tapping the AirPlay button brings up a UI that allows you to select the AirPlay destination. However the only option to choose is the Apple Vision Pro itself. What I want to do is AirPlay the audio to my AirPlay capable receiver while watching a movie to get better sound. But I haven’t figured out how to do this.
