Hangman Adam Page opens the show with an in-ring promo. He comes down the ramp using a crutch.
Hangman states that the AEW World Championship means everything to him and that he thought he would have the opportunity to take it back this Sunday. However, he announces he is unable to compete at AEW Revolution.
Immediately, Swerve Strickland comes out. He states that he and Page have went to war with each other, that he may have crossed a line, but Strickland has always had respect for what Page has done in AEW. But this Sunday - it's his time to become AEW World Champion.
Samoa Joe then comes to the ramp and says that Swerve and Hangman keep being referred to as 'hungry young wrestlers' but they're not. He's going to keep them starving. Joe is gonna whip anyone's ass at Revolution - whoever turns up.
Swerve doesn't let Joe leave; he explains that he's went from unemployed to the main event. From the cruiserweight title to the World Title. He trespassed into Nick Wayne's school and left him bloody, he broke into Hangman's house and threatened his infant child. He's willing to do anything to get to where he deserves to be. Come Revolution, he's going to make history.
Before he can finish - Hangman attacks him with the crutch. He's not actually injured and will be competing at AEW Revolution.
The promo that Kenny did in Boston after Blood and Guts was originally meant for television. In this promo he mentioned the group would be sticking together, which is where many got the impression that they were staying in AEW. However, none of the four involved have said that that is what the line meant.
From the WWE perspective, Kenny Omega was their most coveted free agent target a few months ago, and they felt that they had a good shot at him. That has since gone cold, so they also believe that Kenny is staying with AEW.
Tony Khan making these big contract offers (Elsewhere in the newsletter, someone from WWE/NXT calls RUSH's new contract 'insane') indicates hope or thoughts of a TV rights deal increase.

I don't think there is any way that AEW will have Danielson go over Page for the title. The Page story was so long and amazing that they would take the title from him so quickly. Any opinions?
Jay White defeats Hangman Adam Page via pinfall after Prince Nana distracts Page ala Page distracting Strickland earlier in the night.
Jay White is now 4-0 against Hangman in their careers.
It should be noted that the rest of Bullet Club Gold (Juice Robinson, The Gunns and Cardblade) all had mini trikes that they cycled to the ring on.
