Action anime with Female protagonist?

Can anyone recommend me action anime with a female protagonist? NOT the ones where the female is suppose to be the protagonist but is instead a male like : Akame ga kill ,black lagoon, beyond the boundary. I already seen kill la kill, soul eater, tanya the evil, vivy , lyrois recoil.

Kung Fu hustle is the best attempt a live action anime by far..

After seeing Steven Chow's two most famous and iconic movies (arguably) which are Kung Fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer, I realized that the movie goes from action scenes to dialogue to character development while closely resembling an anime like theme throughout. The fight scenes look to an angle, very silly and cartoonish and that is the best part of it. I don't think the west could emulate Steven's vision anytime soon

action anime with a good amount of romance?

I want to watch some action with a good story, which is focused on romance (a good balance between the story and romance would be nice). The main leads team up and fight together or something. I’d like it if the both leads are badass together and famous for their power. (Also the girl absolutely cannot be a tsundere please) Also it’d be great if the animation and soundtracks are good :)

I hate when characters in action anime just know their injuries.

So our protagonist or whoever is up against a very powerful foe.

The enemy beats them up really badly and the character thinks in their head, "Yabai! This is really bad! 34 of my ribs are broken, I have internal bleeding in my brain, my uterus has collapsed and my lung is poking through my chest!"

This sucks, in my opinion, for a few reasons:

1. It lowers suspension of disbelief

How exactly does the character know that this is what happened? When I sprained some tissue in my foot just recently, my thought wasn't "I just sprained the soft tissue in the side of my foot" it was "Ouch! I just hurt my foot!" I didn't know what had happened until I spoke to a doctor. I've spoken to others who had been injured and their experiences were similar.

2. It lowers stakes

So how is x character still functioning with a sever concussion, burst liver and broken leg? Not knowing what happened exactly makes it believable enough for the audience, but knowing lowers the stakes. It says: no matter the injury, character still fights just fine."

One of my favourite inversions comes in the finale of Phantom Blood:

Part 1 spoilers

Jonathan gets space ripper stingy eyed by Dio and can hardly breathe, which is bad since Hamon relies on breathing techniques and bloodflow. He uses the last of his hamon to kill Wang Chan and make his body blow up the ship.

Jonathan says, "Something broke in my body! Something important!"

This is amazing.

It gives a sense of danger because we don't know what happened. All we know is Jonathan is dying.

It also doesn't make his last stand that unbelievable since we have no idea what happened to him.

(It also gets inverted in part 4 when Kira gets too specific with his injuries, in an attempt to look more pathetic, but instead just tips Josuke off that he is a stand user.)

000

Tl;dr- Don't have your character say "three of my ribs are poking my left lung", have them instead say "my chest hurts so badly, and I'm wheezing!"

I Want an Action Anime

I want to watch an action anime with good animation and well-animated fights, the shorter, the better. I also like more mature anime.

For reference, I’ve so far seen AOT, Demon Slayer, OPM, and Jujutsu Kaisen (well, I’m haven’t finished Jujutsu Kaisen). I’ve also played DBZ Kakarot and know pretty much all of DB’s story, so you could say I’ve seen DB, too.

EDIT: I prefer fantasy shōnen anime, so I’d like that sort of show.

Visually impressive action anime

I'm looking for new anime with hype visuals and animation (think Demon Slayer, Fire Force, Gurren Lagen, etc.) I've seen most of the newer shows that meet this criterion and a lot of classics. I think i've asked this question before and got suggested a lot movies which i'm personally against 90% of the time.

So I'll try again. Any suggestions for visually impressive anime SHOWS? Plot and "plot" optional.

Live action anime adaptations.

The live action kenshin films are regarded as some of the best (and one of the only passable) live action anime adaptations around.

Can anyone think of any other live action anime remakes of equal or higher caliber?
