Escribo un poco frustrado después de horas de debate con un grupo de amigos, donde trato de hacerles entender por qué ese “informe” que están que mencionan desde ayer en las noticias (gracias, porquería de Willax) no es algo a tomarse a pecho. Estoy que trato de encontrar algo sobre ese informe porque quiero leerlo (soy biólogo molecular).
Me parece demasiado sospechoso que haya un estudio que menciona que las vacunas son ineficientes en el Perú y que mo se haya reportado nada más a nivel mundial. Me parece sospechoso que haya salido en Willax, y ahora se ha generado un pánico a raíz de eso.
Es mi opinión que es más probable que no que el estudio o diga algo distinto o que hayan cosas que corregir, pero nuevamente, no lo he leído así que no puedo decir nada.
Alguien tiene idea de cómo acceder al estudio preliminar? En teoría no se debería ni saber qué dice de conclusiones porque es preliminar pero... la confidencialidad en el Perú parece no existir.

Hey guys, know there has been a lot of discussion on Sinopharm not releasing detailed phase 3 results, these were just released in a WHO report linked below. Conclusion is it's approx 78% effective in adults below 60.

Just wondering if anyone is feeling apprehensive about getting Sinopharm and would rather wait for another vaccine? I'm torn over what to do. I had the opportunity to get AstraZeneca but because I was on antibiotics they told me I can't take it. What's everyone else's opinion? or what is everyone else doing? I don't know if I should just go for it or wait (I'm in a low priority category btw). What do you think are the chances of getting another vaccine like Pfizer here?

Hey guys, thought it was a little strange we didn't have a thread to discuss our experiences post chooks. I myself am quite late with this but I have documented my conditions day by day since I took my chook on Saturday 24th.
Day 1 : Nothing of note till almost exactly 12 hours after, started to feel a tinge of soreness in my shoulder of same hand where I got the injection
Day 2 : Continued soreness in shoulder, barely bordering uncomfortable, did not last past mid day. Avoided working out to allow injection site to heal without aggravation.
Day 3 : Soreness gone, felt absolutely normal, was imagining little covid-19 antibodies floating around my body.
Day 4 : Felt good enough to workout, pushed myself a bit more than usual to provoke my arm and see if anything arose? Nothing, completely fine.
Day 5 : Tomorrow, safe to say I developed no side effects whatsoever.
I'm a 31yo 5'11, 243lb male with no pre-existing health conditions.
Edit: I took my first shot at the Heliport in Chaguaramas, 2nd shot is slated for the 14th
Just collating some of the expected side effects, going to assume everyone took Sinopharm unless stated otherwise
*Fatigue/Weakness for about a day, most reported within a day of receiving a dose
*Normal - Mild Headache
*Fever
*Weakness
**Unusual cycle for some women
