Reddit's arrogance in all but ignoring the mods needs has resulted in only harming our users. This sub went dark due to the terrible handling of Reddit's API pricing changes and policy decisions. /r/Save3rdPartyApps/. Under duress and for the benefit of our users, we are reopening the Subreddit despite this issue not being resolved.

With all the drama surrounding "Dont worry Darling", I thought I would share a personal experience I had with her during the summer of 2020.

I was working in a very nice restaurant in the Brentwood neighborhood of Santa Monica. Famously a neighborhood celebrities live in, so we had a lot of high profile clientele come in.

One night about an hour before closing, Olivia Wilde has a reservation for two. Her friend arrives before her and we seat her, she explains Olivia is running a little late. Cut to an hour later, still no Olivia. Restaurant is closed by now but plenty of people still inside finishing their meals. Her friend insisted Olivia was still coming. Another 30 minutes goes by, Olivia finally arrives, apologizing for her lateness.

The restaurant is now empty and closed. They order food, myself and the remaining employees begin closing down the restaurant. 2 hours go by, the restaurant has been completely cleaned up excluding the table they are sitting at and a few other loud intrusive things we can't really do with customers still inside like vacumming etc. The entire remaining staff is sat at a table waiting for these two to finish so they can go home. They order dessert. 1 more hour goes by, it is now 1am.

Finally they pack up to leave, Olivia sheepishly half apologizes to her server for being so late. Server closes out the check, Olivia tips just under 18%.

Edit: Some more context, I was working in the kitchen, my wife was a server so after we sent out her food the kitchen was able to clean up and go home.

This was the kind of place that did tip shares so all of the FOH staff that was on the tip share had to stay until the last guest left.

The GM (and owners who were minor chef celebrities themselves) would never under any circumstances let us turn out a celebrity of Olivia Wildes status. If Olivia Wilde wanted to take one of the floorboards on her way out the GM would have been making us pry it up and pack it into her car for her. We all understood, even if we disagreed, that we were to treat the rich famous people who came in with discretion and 5 star service. Most celebs that come in would never be this rude or entitled and most would have left a great tip. Not so much for Ms Wilde.

Tom hanks would come in often, my wife and him once sang happy birthday to a small girl at a neighboring table. He would tip $100 on a $100 tab.
