Whenever I watch Boone’s scenes in the seasons after his death, he seems so different than he was on the island. I don’t know if its just my perception but it seems like Ian is playing damon instead of boone. The character seems a lot more confident and kind of arrogant which are both traits Boone wasn’t really displaying.
To be fair, Ian isn’t the strongest actor in general so maybe I’m reading too much into it

I've seen various opinions about him, some says that he's the sweetest but others says that him is arrogant, what do you think? I don't want to support a bad person tbh

Some of it was over the top of showy… but he was so engaging, nervous, playful. Couldn’t have been a better Damon or someone who understood the character better!

As the title says. I bought a picture with Ian at Wales comic con today (won't post the picture as I'd rather stay private on here) but even though I only met him for a few minutes he seems like a lovely kind man. He gave me a nice hug and we had a brief chat and he's very friendly and charismatic. I have quite bad social anxiety and was very nervous beforehand, especially as I was doing the picture on my own but as soon as I spoke to Ian he made me feel completely at ease. Everyone else I spoke to afterwards when we were waiting for our pictures to be printed said they had the same positive experience with him.
Also he's extremely attractive in person, he's aged like fine wine and his eyes are soo blue. I wonder if he is actually a vampire 🤔😆. If anyone has the chance to meet him I'd definitely recommend it. Paul was also there and I wish I'd had the money to meet him too as everyone I spoke to who'd met both of them said Paul was super lovely as well. Fingers crossed I'll get another chance in the future.

I don’t know if anyone has already made a post about this but I’m currently rewatching one my fav comfort shows TVD and I must admit I have never really appreciated how damn well casted I think Damon was, I couldn’t imagine anyone other than Ian playing him and I think he really does a hands down great job 👏
