He escuchado que antes había que poner en el banco 50 mil pesos cubanos por 6 meses. Pero ahora son como 200 mil pesos. Ese es el primer paso ? Son como 500 USD al cambio, me imagino que en 6 meses se vuelvan menos de 400 USD si los dejo en el banco, por la inflación constante de las monedas. Puedo vivir con esa pérdida, pero es seguro? Alguien que lo haya hecho que pueda darme consejos. Saludos

There seems to be some (ignorant) consensus that Cubans who escaped the dictatorship were all rich and that we "had plantations". Only a minority in the first wave of the 60s were rich. After that we were as piss poor as it gets! Is this nonsense propaganda being taught in American schools?

If I had a cent for each useful idiot that has told me that I miss my nonexistent plantations back in Cuba and that’s why I despise the dictatorship I would be richer than Elon by now! Truth is I earned my freedom during one of poorest waves of the 90’s. We barely could afford anything to eat at all! Have you had the same experience? Is this nonsense propaganda still taught in American schools or something? It’s really pervasive…
