LivingDNA Results... South Caucasus? LivingDNA Results... South Caucasus?
https://preview.redd.it/livingdna-results-south-caucasus-v0-id7cc6x2bdkd1.png

For reference, i'm Venetian (northeastern Italy).

My paternal haplogroup is I1 (I-S440 haplotype), and my maternal haplogroup is K1a.

As far as genealogy goes, my maternal grandmother is from Venice, and a great-grandmother on my father's side of the family (his mother's) is from Tyrol.

I know my father's side of the family came from Central Europe in the XVIII century (explains the I1 haplogroup i guess). The DNA from southern Italy is likely due to historical mixing, so i understand that.

However, i can't make sense of the South Caucasus DNA. Not only genealogically, but also what does it mean? Is it Armenian DNA? Or is it steppe ancestry (since it does have a Caucasus component)? Or is it an aberration due to the nature of the LivingDNA analysis?

Thanks to anyone helping me make sense of this.

Why is so many regions that didn't appear on ancestry on my living dna? Why is so many regions that didn't appear on ancestry on my living dna?

So I uploaded my ancestry dna to living dna and I was confused it said Japanese and Korean and Pannonia the rest were the same as the ones ancestry said. I'm also Filipino Chinese so maybe I got my Japanese ancestry from that but I thought it would've appeared on my ancestry. It also excluded the African which I find strange since that was on my ancestry dna report.
