[Wind] Will Barton said on the @RoadTrippinPod that the Suns should be sent to the G League for losing by 48 points. Troy Daniels got wind of the comments and tried to fight Barton last night on the court.

Rewatched game and TD really stuck out. Deadeye shooter, plays active team defense, good ball handling, fast/twitchy athlete. I liked what I saw out of him much more than KCP. And contrary to popular belief, TD and not Caruso led the Lakers in plus/minus.

I’m excited to see what him and Dudley (I’m unreasonably pro-Dudley. He’ll be like the Lakers’ Haslem but with more actual game) bring to the table.

Thoughts on TD? I know he’s money on 3’s but don’t know much else. Haven’t really followed his career

Really don't understand why Lakers fans are trashing Troy Daniels

Yes I get it, he's our best option to make room for Morris, but the guy is a serviceable player in his own right and is an excellent shooter. I have no complaints about his time in LA.

Show him a little respect and thank him for his time in LA if he does get released for Markieff Morris. Hope he gets a ring if we win a championship

[Charania] Free agent Troy Daniels has agreed to a one-year, $2.1M with the Lakers, agent Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports tells @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Daniels gives the Lakers an elite shooter to pair with LeBron James and Anthony Davis and does not affect the team’s cap space.

[Wojnarowski] Lakers will waive G Troy Daniels, agent Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports tells ESPN. Two sides had been working together to find a solution that will give Daniels an opportunity elsewhere, and also give Lakers an open roster spot into March.

Here are our best remaining 3pt shooting options outside of Troy Daniels who we just signed for $2.1M.

Here are our best remaining 3pt shooting options outside of Troy Daniels who we just signed for $2.1M.

Danny Green (likely to Mavs if Kawhi leaves) - 45.5% 3pt, 84.1% FT

Jeff Green - 34.7% 3pt, 88.8% FT

Marcus Morris - 37.5% 3pt, 84.4% FT

Vince Carter - 39% 3pt, 71.2% FT (oh god)

Trey Burke - 35.2% 3pt, 83.1% FT

Nik Stauskas - 37.2% 3pt, 89.1% FT

KCP - 34.7% 3pt, 86.7% FT

Lance - 37.1% 3pt, 68.5% FT (jesus)

Dragic (if moved somehow) - 34.8% 3pt, 78.2% FT

Korver (if waived) - 38.4% 3pt, 82.2% FT

If we sign Kawhi, who do you think we can land?

If we don't get Kawhi, who do you think we'll likely overpay with our $32M cap space?
