Take them all at once for maximum immunity

[–]din7 664 points665 points  (17 children)

5,700% efficacy.

[–]wandering-monster 173 points174 points  (0 children)

Now COVID has to watch out, or it'll catch JimmyJibbly.

No one will need to wear a mask in a 40 mile radius.

    [–]CjNorec 23 points24 points  (2 children)

    Wouldn't it be a super tiny number then? .9460 =.024 so 2.4% efficacy :(

    [–]C4Redalert-work 29 points30 points  (1 child)

Wait, shouldn't it be: 1-(1-.94)60 ? Gotta make sure you're stacking those 94's correctly.

    [–]CjNorec 19 points20 points  (0 children)

    ^ This guy maths

    [–]kryonik 8 points9 points  (1 child)

ARPGs have taught me you can only get to 75% immunity

    [–]Arnn-The-Frost-Demon 152 points153 points  (6 children)

Why be immune when you can be invincible?

    Takes everything

    [–]strayakant 11 points12 points  (5 children)

Serious question though, how many of those syringes does it take to OD? Is this possible?

    [–]Arnn-The-Frost-Demon 6 points7 points  (2 children)

... you're not thinking of actually trying this, are you?

    I have no idea, yet.

Joking aside, i know old folks at work who took 4 because apparently it was recommended by doctors that they do so idk

    [–]wolfgang784 4 points5 points  (1 child)

So far its looking like an additional booster shot or two helps with immunity - afaik not all versions of the shot though. Some areas are giving these additional doses to especially at risk people. (idk if the US has done that yet at all, just elsewhere)

    [–]ericsb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah the CDC recently announced "boosters", which is really just another dose, for people who are immunocompromised. Here is a link: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/booster-shot.html

"Peirce you've had three flu shots! Those are for the health centre!"

    [–]jawnly211 37 points38 points  (4 children)

No joke….I honestly know a couple people who would want to do that

    [–]ChowderedStew 4 points5 points  (3 children)

It wouldn't work you'd just be stealing additional shots that could be used for other people. Unless you had your shots many months ago and you're getting a booster, taking 100 all at once would do little compared to the two original ones.

    [–]oshinbruce 2 points3 points  (2 children)

You'd have to imagine you would be pretty sick if you took that much though, your immune system would go bonkers.

    [–]sartreofthesuburbs 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It's like in Final Fantasy, when you have 200% immunity, Covid will just heal you.

    [–]LyberianInx 9 points10 points  (26 children)

Wonder how many it would take to actually kill you.

    [–]wolfgang784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few people have accidentally been given 6 doses at once n they just got the common flu symptom after effects n were fine.

    [–]oneyedmonkey 24 points25 points  (10 children)

It would increase your immunity from 99 percent survival rate to about 99 percent survival rate

    [–]nickh1979 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You tricked em with your sliver tongue 👍🏻

    [–]broexist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That will last one person 30 years.. but after the first 5 years you should be the covid and not need any more

    [–]Aikarion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe they call it max vaxing.

    [–]Spaceman_Beard 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Are you hoarding these for good 5G signal

    [–]GhostalMedia 146 points147 points  (10 children)

    I wish I got better 5G reception. AT&T’s 5G sucks.

    [–]jimmyboe25 34 points35 points  (5 children)

Just be glad your not on the damn “Edge” network

    [–]GhostalMedia 30 points31 points  (4 children)

It’s AT&T. It’s probably just the edge network with a 5G sticker over it.

    [–][deleted] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Introducing our 5th generation of customers still using Edge

    [–]DrBob3002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RIGHT?! Every time my internet connectivity slows to a grind I look at my status bar and it's because I'm in an area with 5g. Really regretting "upgrading" now.

      [–]SandInTheGears 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's why the vaccines have to be cooled. Otherwise that many 5G transmitters so close together would generate enough heat to cook an egg /s

      speedtest.net

      [–]ch-l-c 52 points53 points  (6 children)

Curious about how the open cooler will effect the temp. Don’t they need to stay regulated until use?

      [–]Rosabellajoy 66 points67 points  (0 children)

They have to be used within six hours once mixed (reconstituted). I’m assuming these are being used in a vaccine clinic and will be used rapidly.

      [–]fireyeye 45 points46 points  (0 children)

with Pfizer it gets mixed with saline and drawn up into the needles and kept cool but are good for a few hours once they're thawed out

      [–]gilimandzaro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have to open the cooler to use them duh

      [–]PooperScooper1987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can see a thermometer in there…

      [–]Justryan95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually cold air is dense and won't or will barely escape the cooler even if you open the top. That's why chest freezers are some of the most efficient freezer designs because the cold air doesn't spill out, it's like water stuck in a tub.

      [–][deleted] 132 points133 points  (9 children)

      Plot twist: it’s heroin

      [–]reagan2024 38 points39 points  (1 child)

Well that must be why everyone likes them so much.

      [–]-ratmeat- 9 points10 points  (0 children)

      [–]kamissymoo 195 points196 points  (54 children)

My arm hurts just looking at this

      [–]Nerobus 123 points124 points  (48 children)

Weirdly that was the shot that hurt me the least going in. I feel EVERY shot I get, but this one I didn’t feel a thing.

It was sore a few hours later, but going in was fine!

      [–]SoftlySpokenPromises 30 points31 points  (27 children)

My arm felt fine after mine, but for nearly a week after both doses I felt like garbage.

      [–]DakotaTheAtlas 13 points14 points  (9 children)

I just got my first dose Saturday, and I've had a low grade fever of 100.4 since yesterday afternoon. My arm feels a lot better than it did yesterday but today I'm flat out exhausted.

      [–][deleted]  (2 children)

      [deleted]

        [–]DakotaTheAtlas 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Yup, just sucks in the meantime. But it'll be worth it.

        [–]Broadbackedhippo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I got really intense lymph node pain after my second shot, it was hard to sleep or get comfortable because I had to prop up my arm with a pillow. Having made it past that, it's 100% worth it but it still feels annoying when you're going through it.

        [–]Drfoxi 3 points4 points  (5 children)

The second dose absolutely wrecked me.

        I wanted to die lol.

Hopefully it’s not the same for you friend.

        [–]dano415 21 points22 points  (6 children)

I asked the lady who gave me the shot, and she said they were using a new tiny needle.

        [–]tooncow 29 points30 points  (3 children)

I don’t know why people are downvoting you when you are correct. The COVID vaccine is less viscous than the flu vaccine so we are able to use a narrower needle for the COVID vaccine.

        Source - a COVID vaccinator.

        [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

25 gauge needles be like that.

        [–]autumn_skies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same here! Like I felt nothing. My yearly flu shots hurt worse.

        [–]ailurius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't feel a thing either, and for the next few hours i was super happy I didn't feel any side effects at all! The next day felt like the worst hangover ever, and like someone had repeatedly kicked my arm. A day or two later I was back to normal.

Would I do it again? Of course I would.

        [–]wherearethedracos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Best needle I’ve ever had but i was sick the day after my 2nd dose (mostly bcs i couldnt sleep since my arm ached like crazy)

        [–]Fenweekooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yep the only thing i felt with mine (although mine was moderna) was maybe when the plastic bit of the syringe butted up against my arm. other then that absolutely nothing until later when i could barely move my arm lol

        [–]poopoojerryterry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 1st one i felt a bit bad, th2 2nd I didn't feel anything. I had a massive bruise, no pain, no covid like symptoms. I was pretty because my 2 friends had to call out of work from some horrible body aching and fever and I felt fine.

        [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro the first time I didnt notice it either and the 2nd time I went in with a little challenge. I was going to try and see if I was able to tell when it went in. And gues what? I couldnt tell.

        [–]iplaytoomuchdnd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually didn't get a super bad arm soreness with Pfizer, weirdly enough. I was able to work my shift at a burger joint afterwards just fine, both times. Any other shot gives me a dead arm from hell.

        [–]HskrRooster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had SOOOO many shots and strangely this was the shot that hurt the most. I could barely raise my arm above shoulder height for almost a week

        [–]Zenist289 32 points33 points  (1 child)

        Sorts by controversial

        [–]redddditer420 100 points101 points  (7 children)

Oh good I’ve been craving more since the first couple doses

        [–]GooseBonk1 27 points28 points  (0 children)

        Yummy spike proteins!

        [–]rhinocerosjockey 294 points295 points  (9 children)

So when they are all clustered like that, does the GPS tracking still work or do they interfere with each other’s signal? /s

        [–]JimmyJibbly1999[S] 79 points80 points  (7 children)

        Lol still works 🤣

        [–]rhinocerosjockey 38 points39 points  (6 children)

Ohh good. I got my first tracking shot in April, then got that chip upgraded to 5G with the second shot, but I’ve yet to notice any difference so I wasn’t sure if it worked at all or not. Glad to hear they do, though!

        [–][deleted] 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Can't wait for the booster so I can upgrade my microchip.

        [–]Early_Ad_9448 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The booster is to sterilize you, only the rich shall procreate.

        [–]manx203 139 points140 points  (1 child)

Look at all that magnetism, holding them all together so neatly :-p /s

        [–]GiGaBYTEme90 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That green base is to set the tracking devices NFC ,!!!

        /s

        [–]Pharmd109 38 points39 points  (2 children)

I’ve drawn up 1000’s of these suckers now, really mildly interesting to me haha

        [–]redshoeMD 44 points45 points  (2 children)

        Shots fired (hopefully)

        [–]MJsLoveSlave 14 points15 points  (13 children)

Do all the doses comes in syringes like that cause when I got my doses, they did not come in syringes like that. (they were in syringes, just not like those)

        [–]0wnzl1f3 16 points17 points  (10 children)

They come in stopper vials containing the undiluted vaccine. You then add saline and draw 5-7 doses per vial depending on the amount of dead space in the syringes you are using.

        [–][deleted]  (7 children)

        [deleted]

          [–]Rosabellajoy 11 points12 points  (4 children)

They probably mixed it before you got there or did it in a space you couldn’t see them mixing it. When I was working at a pharmacy last month we often mixed the vials in a back room or on a back counter after defrosting them. The vial is good for six hours after it’s mixed (reconstituted).

          [–][deleted]  (3 children)

          [deleted]

            [–]Rosabellajoy 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Yes! Pfizer’s is actually fairly quick to reconstitute since there’s very little liquid that actually needs defrosting. Moderna and J&J will take a few minutes because the vials they come in are bigger and don’t need reconstitution, so there’s more liquid inside. If the pharmacy is busy that’ll also make the wait longer.

I often encouraged patients who called to inquire about the vaccine to call us before they came over so we could have it ready to go for them. It made things run much smoother.

            [–]MJsLoveSlave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks everybody. That had me a little curious.

Mine were administered through my dialysis clinic and they had the pre-filled syringes jabbing folks as they went up and down the aisles.

            [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The clinics here put the empty vials in the sharps containers along with the used needles for disposal, I think due to concern of people refilling them with who knows what and pretending it's vaccine.

            [–]0wnzl1f3 1 point2 points  (1 child)

They probably did reconstitute before you got there but it seems weird that they would draw doses in front of you… that process can be rather tedious, especially if you are pulling the last dose from a vial.

            [–]KUjslkakfnlmalhf 1 point2 points  (1 child)

You then add saline and draw 5-7 doses per syringe

I think you should proof read this.

            [–]fireyeye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they get mixed with saline first and then drawn up into a syringe. they're shipped in a glass vial

            [–]Squashy1738 18 points19 points  (14 children)

Looks like the amounts in the syringes are fluctuating a decent amount... how hard is it to pull 0.3 mL or whatever it’s supposed to be?

            [–]0wnzl1f3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I used to work for the vaccination campaign when there was a higher demand and the pharmacist would make us redraw the dose if it wasn't exactly on the 0.3 ml line.

            [–]allstartinter2021 5 points6 points  (3 children)

Husband and I got our first shots today☺

            [–]johnnywishbone88 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Me and my son got our 2nd this morning. They told me 14 days now until full effects are present, and to continue the same precautions as before.

            [–]allstartinter2021 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep Ill still wear a mask when im fully vaccinated.

            [–]ThatBookMalice 32 points33 points  (13 children)

Not gonna lie but it's really bad practice to resheath a needle. Needles should stay in their sterilised packaging until you need to use them. This would be a major no-no and that person would get a bollocking if not a formal slap on the wrist (written up). You draw a needle and then jab. Don't draw and resheath.

*Source, I work at a vaccination centre. Nurses I work with are hot on following rules. This wouldn't fly there.

            [–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (4 children)

What if they drew with one needle, say a .22 g and then placed a (I'm guessing) .15g on after? I'm not doubting the whole, double use of a needle, I know the damage a single use does, especially through the rubber tops of inoculant vials, but maybe they just have an alternative method to work by?

            [–]ThatBookMalice 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Draw up one at a time, you let the patient see you drawing up unless they've asked not see (needle phobic). Lots of people like to see the vial and it's reassuring knowing that the needle is full of vaccine and not something else (like saline/water). The rubber tops should be sterilised with an alcohol wipe before the vaccinator goes to draw up. One draw at a time, no resheathing needles. If the patient decides they don't want it after you've drawn up then it's supposed to go straight into the sharps bin. I think at that point it should be okay to give it to the next patient to reduce waste but I get that the guidelines and protocols are there for infection prevention and control, also health and safety.

If you draw up with the wrong needle then that dose is void and goes straight into the sharps bin. Don't mess around with the needle after you've drawn up, that's a big risk of infection for patient because the needle is no longer sterile.

It's goes sorta like this: Patient is called over.

Confirm their identity and make sure patient information is correct.

Patient is asked a series of questions.

Nurse/vaccinator makes a decision whether they are eligible for the vaccine (not allergic to ingredients, no history of adverse reaction to vaccinations, not pregnant - if they are they are to consult their midwife or GP first then come back and get the shot, no covid in the last 4 weeks, no vaccinations in the last 7 days, no contraindications).

Nurse goes through symptoms and side effects and how to manage them if you get them.

Nurse asks for consent to give the jab.

            Nurse draws up the needle.

            Nurse gives jab.

Patient is given information about the vaccine and is asked to wait 15 minutes in the waiting area to be observed (time yourself, after 15 minutes if you feel okay get up and go).

            Edit: spacing, am on mobile.

            [–]sayleekelf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

These might not be re-sheathed. I normally draw up the dose then switch on a fresh needle to go into the patients arm. It’s wasteful, and I don’t do it when supplies are running low, but the CDC is sending us so many immunization supplies that I don’t feel bad.

            [–]frillytotes 2 points3 points  (1 child)

OP's photo is bad practice, but not for the reason you state. It is fine to resheath in this context, i.e. where the syringes are prepared in a central pharmacy on site then administered straight away to waiting patients.

It is not recommended to prepare so many shots in advance though. You want to prepare 5 or 6 (i.e. one vial's worth) at a time, then do the next batch when the patients are ready.

Having said that, maybe this is a huge vaccination centre where there are hundreds of people waiting at once?

            [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

            Agreed.

            [–]samantharpn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I also work in a vaccination centre as a nurse and one of our sites does pre-fill syringes to fast track patients. There are nurses in a prep station that fill the syringes and put a fresh, still sheathed needle on. The syringes are then transported to another nurse for injection.

Yes- best practice is typically to draw up in front of the patient but we have specific policies for this situation to process as many vaccinations as possible in our bigger centres.

            [–]Bannedlife 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rightfully so! It would be awful if anyone got an infection at the site of vaccination

            [–]JimmyJibbly1999[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interestingly the rules between vaccination clinics and general practice clinics vary significantly. We can run a clinic with just one person, I believe you need at least 8. Weird.

            [–]Mother_Inspector_658 4 points5 points  (3 children)

sadly you won't be magnetic after getting the vaccine :(

            [–]TheBringus 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Did you wanna be magnetic? Lmao I can see how that might be fun

            [–]Mother_Inspector_658 2 points3 points  (1 child)

according to my parents i wouldve become mutant from the vaccine, so i was kinda disappointed after i found out it was normal.

            [–]TheBringus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, we'll find a way to make you into a cool mutant soon buddy. Just gotta keep looking.

            [–][deleted] 16 points17 points  (2 children)

Woah you can probably link all the microchips together and make a pretty decent PC

            [–]crimsonnocturne 6 points7 points  (1 child)

When I got my vaccine I accessed the 5g dev console and configured my brain to mine crypto when idle. I make 4 or 5 bucks a day depending on how much sleep/thinking i do.

            [–]GammaLambdaBeta 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How did you make sure there were only one microchip in each syringe? I'm concerned some people are getting more than what's fair. /s

            [–]waynegretzkysbrother 15 points16 points  (47 children)

What's the new one this week uhhh It's just saline!

            [–]BerryChlossom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All I see is a bag of chips.

Take all of them yourself and become the weapon we need to fight off Covid and its dastardly gang of variants.

            [–]Successful_Detail521 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anti Vaxxers are just rationalizing their fear of needles lmao

            [–]Caeruleanlynx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not even an antivaxxer, but a bunch of syringes is not even mildly interesting. It's just incredibly mundane.

            [–]LackXofXThought 9 points10 points  (25 children)

            Where you taking them?

            [–]JimmyJibbly1999[S] 22 points23 points  (7 children)

            What do you mean?

That’s just how they’re stored to keep them cool.

To an antivax protest with a blow-dart pipe

            [–]You_sir_neigh_uhm 16 points17 points  (3 children)

Dammit, I was literally going to post that right now. I just decided to Google whether it was a "blow gun" or "blow dart gun" and lost the race. To "blow-dart pipe".

            [–]practical_dilema 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My tab next to this one is a google search for "blow-dart weapon". lol.

            [–]smackpigeon 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Struggling to maintain even a mild interest in a box of needles.

I just schedule my covid vax! Going to take it in 2 days.

It got the Pfizer. It was easy peasy.

              [–]getjoacookie 8 points9 points  (7 children)

I am the biggest chicken when it comes to needles but I didn't even feel mine! Felt them putting the bandaid on and I was like "wtf, you did it already?!"

Definitely easiest vaccine I've ever had. Due for 2nd shot in 3 weeks, so we'll see if I get any side effects from that, but nothing from the 1st injection :)

              [–]TheJollyReaper 8 points9 points  (2 children)

I passed out after my first injection :/

The shot itself went surprisingly fine. I've always hated needles too, but I was calm and had no problems with the shot itself.

But then after 5-10 minutes or so of sitting out in the waiting area I started getting dizzy, and next thing I know I was waking up and staff was right there trying to help me.

2nd injection went better though! I guess I was marked down as a fainter because they w ere extra cautious with me

              [–]Ottermolecule 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First one lemon squeezy, no side effects just a sore arm for a couple days and didn't even feel it happen, but wait. The second one... felt it a bit then next day my glands on the left are now huge and I have a bit of a fever. Don't let that put you off though, apparently I just have a rare side effect, or I'm going full matrix, I can't tell.

Either way, my signal is great Worth it

              [–]Nerobus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same!! Definitely one of the easiest ones ever.

              [–]mixedupfruit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had same experience with the first. I felt the 2nd but it still wasn't that bad having it. I did feel crappy the day after but just chill out and let it pass

              [–]BarryMacochner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got allergy shots for years as a kid, I always watched them do it.

When I got my first shot of vaccine I asked her if a lot of people did that and she couldn’t really remember. She said afterwards that it did kinda weird her out a little.

              [–]GhostalMedia 14 points15 points  (1 child)

I had to do Netflix and fever chills for 1 night, but it was worth it.

              [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tomorrow I’ll have mu second shot!

              [–]byoshin304 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Someone commented on a local news story (we had a protest at the hospital over vaccine mandates this weekend 🙄) that the vaccine will charge your RBCs and make them stick together like magnets. Dumbest shit Ive ever read, fortunately I took a screen shot before the comment was deleted.

Call it the Chuck Norris Vaccine.

              [–]CeramicCastle49 1 point2 points  (1 child)

When I got the vaccine they had the little bottle that they sucked the vaccine out of with the syringe

              [–]picabotwo 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Wait these are not labelled with social security numbers, how will they know which trackers goto the right person? 😁

              [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They aren't registered yet. Once they're injected, they connect to your phone to collect the data through google.

              [–]Y0urM0mAndDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you just need 1.

              [–]ModerateAndy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I find interesting is no one seems to feel these needles go in, they are that thin

              [–]El_Diablo_Pollo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Load them into a dart gun and get ready for the next Trump rally.

              [–]BKWhitty 6 points7 points  (9 children)

I'm planning to try and get myself to finally muster the courage to get vaccinated tomorrow and this picture just gave me SO MUCH ANXIETY. Needles scare the shit out of me

              [–]MatejGames 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was also really stressed. I just didnt look at it and it actually didnt hurt that much.

              [–]Scale-Slow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My covid vaccinations were definitely the best injections I've ever had. I hardly felt it at all and just didn't look. You can also tell them in advance you're anxious and they'll know how to reassure you and do their best to help you through it. It's totally worth it too. Good luck and get yourself a well done treat afterwards!

              [–]YellowSphinx 9 points10 points  (6 children)

Man I still need to get mine. I’ve never been good about getting shots though. And unfortunately for me I’m related to a lot of people who prefer taking horse medication so they won’t go with me. I’m sorry that I’m a weanie 🙁

              [–]papawsmurf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve fucking hated injections my entire life. Just close your eyes real hard, clench your free hand, and think about something else. Slight pinch and all is well.

              [–]david_edmeades 9 points10 points  (0 children)

              Go get it.

Actual injection was nothing. Stare straight ahead and think of something else for 5 seconds and it's done. I had a pretty strong reaction to #2, which involved lots of blankets for 24 hours and eating an entire canister of cinnamon rolls. I'm ready for round 3.

Every body that is not a good well for virus replication counts. If your family won't protect themselves, you can do your best to protect them by being the least effective vector you can possibly be.

              [–]kk1485 4 points5 points  (0 children)

              Suck it anti-vaxxers.

              [–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

              That's a lot of 5g /s

              [–]Khoyok2 8 points9 points  (2 children)

              Fully vax gang wya?

              [–]Bannedlife 7 points8 points  (0 children)

              [–]psychicowl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

              Reporting in!

              [–]CollegeAssDiscoDorm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a violation of Marjorie Taylor Greene’s HIPAA rights.

              [–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dont touch your cell phone while you prepare vaccines please. Its very dirty and I doubt you sanitize it :)

              [–]kingcolbe 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Fully approved. Now I wonder what the excuse will be

              [–]Escapingthenoise 13 points14 points  (81 children)

Pfizer has been a “habitual offender,” persistently engaging in illegal and corrupt marketing practices, bribing physicians and suppressing adverse trial results. Since 2002 the company and its subsidiaries have been assessed $3 billion in criminal convictions, civil penalties and jury awards. Trust the politicians and media though..

              [–]sweetpotatomash 19 points20 points  (5 children)

I come from a family of physicians and I myself have been practicing medicine for nearly 5 years. I have given patients and I have been doing followups with patients who've had multiple pfizer vaccines such as prevnar for YEARS now. If you choose to believe and look into conspiracy theories that simply do not exist then go ahead but don't show up to the hospital when your oxygen drops. Stick to snake oils and ivermectin.

The following two things are not mutually exclusive:
-The pharmaceutical industry including Pfizer has engaged in unethical practices, and prioritize profit over everything
-The COVID vaccine is safe and effective

They can both be true at the same time.

                [–]TheGreyBrewer 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Cool. So...any evidence this vaccine isn't safe?

Don't worry, you don't have to look. Not that you were going to.

                [–]CuntyLou 8 points9 points  (4 children)

Their covid vaccine just got fully approved. Fuck off you crank.

                [–]Fun_Collar_6405 4 points5 points  (1 child)

They are not EA approved tho 🙄 they say as they chug another monster down.
