Pat Bowlen
This organization used to demand excellence. We fired Shanahan for being average; we fired John Fox for not winning a Super Bowl, when few others would have. We had one singular goal, to compete for championships. Now, without the guidance of Pat Bowlen, we are a bottom 10 organization, hoping to be average, resigned to be a punching bag for Mahomes for the foreseeable future. Unless the ownership group comes from their ivory tower and demands excellence once again from the entire organization, it’s hard to see how we get back to that place.

This would also stick it directly to the voting committee, to the NFL and to Jerruh hisself when every week, Pat Bowlen Field gets more mention than he does.
Of course knew Bowlen's ownership was a significant guide to the Broncos' success over the years but it has become increasingly obvious that the franchise is not just unsuccessful since he stepped down but also that we've become a dysfunctional punchline. Yesterday's game felt like something that we never could've dreamed of under Bowlen and sadly seems like a culmination of the path the team has been going down for the past 7 years
Penner isn't necessarily Daniel Snyder but I'm concerned that we're going to become the post-91 Washington Football Team and are entering a very long, dark period. I guess it remains to be seen but the Broncos culture since 2017 has been nothing but losing and ugliness. It's becoming worrisome
