Generally people argue what the outcome should have been based on what they think the rules should be not what the rules are. So it ends up more of being a position on the rules and not the outcome of the fight. The unified rules clearly say fingers, chin, and elbows when referring to "eye gouges," but don't say toes. These people just want the rule changed. I've frequently gotten into arguments with friends about scoring bc they don't want certain things to be counted, despite the fact that they are. So I'm constantly having to say "yes, I get your point and don't disagree, but that's not how the scoring criteria is set up or what the rules say. " Nobody seems to want to accept that lol
