I tuned out in episode 2 and watched glimpses of the rest, including the tell-all. Maybe a total of 4 hours. Most of my info came from this sub. That's how I piece the season together. It was a great year, and thanks for all your help. Maybe next year I can cut it down to 2 hours with your help.

Actually if you take out the commercials and the constant repeat of the same preview scene before each commercial the entire season is 4 hours in length.

Yep. it's always been this way, but this Tell-All was ridiculous. 3 episodes. 6 total hours, and nothing was advanced. Not 1 new piece of information was discussed.

I have lost any interest in watching any of the 90 day fiance shows now. I love this sub for talking about the show, but I'll delete it after discussion of this last 90days TOW has run it's course. I am free!!!!

The Potthast segments convinced me the show was mostly fake, Jerry Springer wannabe but it was kinda entertaining so I kept watching. However, the complete refusal for several seasons now to hold cast members accountable for extremely abusive behavior, scripted or not, is a dealbreaker for me. I won’t miss those nasty ass pimple popper ads either.

Everything is too drawn out. The “coming up” segments just reveal the only interesting part of what is coming next, then it repeats with another tease before the commercials.

I deliberately missed last season's episodes because I was tired of the faces and faux drama. I thought I'd give it another go, and I wished I hadn't. Now I'm finding out that Tim is going to do another season with another Colombian woman.

I literally just watch the 3rd reunion, skipped more than half! I thought is this really the best they can get for this show?? Danielle saying ‘everyone thinks I should just be quite and nice to Yohan just because he’s hot’ was very telling that she’s loooves that it looks like she got a hot guy and he’s does what she wants. Also her ex maybe said ten words.. Kris saying ‘I broke his phone and ran’ bitch do you not know what iCloud is? Cuz you have an iPhone. Tim and Veronica were not necessarily at all!!

Gabe wanting to extend his "Fifteen Minutes of Fame" by mouthing off to everyone (and making me realize how low his IQ is), Nicole, once my favorite, crying and going through and staying in her hamster wheel marriage, Jen, who acts like this is the first time she learned his parents don't approve, Danielle, playing with her hair....I'm just over the whole thing. How anyone can tolerate "Pillow Talk" is beyond me. TLC, this concept is no longer interesting or unique.

You are so right! Anything Gabe says anymore is like fingernails on a chalk board to me. He speaks in fucking sound bites that, if he had the ability to think beyond his microcosm of existence, he would realize are just bullshit. Parents shouldn’t give their children a religious upbringing? That’s their prerogative, dumbass. It’s not as though they’re controlling them for life. “What if your child doesn’t want to be Muslim?” My response, actually yelled at the t.v., is “What if your daughter wants to be your son?” You raise them the best you can and when they’re able to make their own decisions, you let them. Duh. And with his less than vast experience in marriage, he doesn’t need to be giving advice to anyone about either children, marriage or divorce. His opinion is worthless and he should just butt the hell out.

My guess is they know this which is why they're doing a matchmaking show now.

I love the Netflix matchmaking shows but I've no use for any TLC matchmaking show because it will be a shitshow.

The Netflix shows have some nutty folks too that make you wanna yell at the TV though not at TLC levels of yelling & so far I haven't seen anyone being physically abused.

Also once they went to the 2 hour format they really lost me. This show doesn't need 2 hours every week. I don't even DVR it anymore.

I think what is maybe being missed here- is that, Rishi’s mom possibly reacting to JEN’s AGE issue-because she’s hoping for GRANDCHILDREN.This is a very family-oriented culture.Has the idea of whether Rishi wants children or not, even been mentioned? Because that’s, as Jen would say” A Hard Pass”.. with her age. That’s just facts! Before Rishis mom being condemned for being “ age-ist”.. there’s that simple fact.If he marries Jen-then no children.I do not fervently watch all of their “ journey”( ugh so sick of that term!) so..Did Rishi ever say he never wants kids? It’s an issue..

Oh I'm totally "Team Rishi's Mom". Jen looked so silly getting angry over being called old. Like lady, you are old. (I'm 45 so I can say that 😂) Definitely too old to have children, which is exactly why Rishi's family has said no. The carrying on after the fact, Jen came across to me as someone who is self centered. I guess I've just had enough of this season and thankful it's over!

Most moms do, but very much so in that culture! And it is a big age difference-life comes with life stages-and that will indeed probably cause issues if not now, later..she’s ready to retire while he’s still in his working years/she can’t have children yet he’s still a young man quite capable of doing so..just ridiculous how they skirted over that whole issue..Rishi-go find a nice Indian lady of your culture who will be glad to carry on your traditions and give you kids-if you want them-though none of these idiots thought to even ask..you’ll forget about Hen eventually! It’s all about American Culture!

Its as if TLC is trying to shove shit down our throats whether we like it or not.

It’s disheartening to see toxic or negative behaviors consistently on the show and then for production to gaslight us by having dumbasses like Debbie or Kris look like the good guys and no one else says a thing. Kris, you are a liar. Debbie, you are a terrible judge of character, shut up. Everyone might be mad at Gabe for saying stuff constantly but somebody has to! It can’t just be me yelling at my screen that these bitches are idiots or that these men behave like annoying children. Mahmoud and his brother, what a joke. I can’t wait for America to eat Mahmoud up and spit him out like the obnoxious temper tantrum throwing toddler that he is. Respect the religion? Respect the culture? How about respect the woman? Kris for single life. Everyone hates Kris but everyone hated Angela and Ed as well. Hate sells.

Nicole and Mahmoud for HEA

Danielle for SL (same as Kris…hate sells. Also she’s really played up the “quirky” thing. I could absolutely see them casting her for more.)

I think Jen and Paul Blart might end up on SL as well. Jen was never a favorite of mine…I was pretty meh about her. But the fact that she willingly gave Paul Blart her number is disturbing to me. His whole demeanor screams bully cop. His you in my world now boy line and his comment about oussama needing to see a dentist tells me pretty much everything I need to know about what kind of man he is. Pretty much, he was a bully in high school. Probably picked on the smaller, weaker kids. Then after high school he knew he would never survive university but he didn’t want to work low paying jobs so he wondered where he could continue to be a bully and make a pretty good living. Then it hit him…I’ll be a cop! I can pretty much guarantee he’s turned that body cam off more than a few times when dealing with suspects.

The only thing I learned from the tell all is that Miss Debbie sides with abusive narcissists bc she is in fact, one also. The way she sat on stage with her smug face to match Kris’s irritated the hell out of me. Then I realize Kris’s mom and Kris sound exactly alike when they speak. Other than that, I learned that these narcs have preyed on good, naive people to the point it made most of them look crazy but all are staying in these abusive dynamics. Especially Nicole after her husband and his uncle blatantly laughed in her face the entire time when he was caught talking to a woman. Gave me flash backs to my own volatile relationship. I’m more disgusted how tlc tiptoed around this but was more concerned about the cheating and infidelity. They know it ran it’s course, hence Match Me Abroad as a rebranded spin off

To me it went downhill with Pillow Talk, because now they became "stars" or "cast members". Plus, you're literally watching people watch TV.

Then with "Strikes Back", you now have the "stars" reading Tweets and emails of fans.

With "The Divorced Life", they took people who weren't all that interesting and removed them from the situation that made them worth watching in the first place. Now it's just a dating show, and there are countless shows like that.

Don't get me started on Darcey and her spinoff. Or "Love in Paradise".

Yes, couldn't have said it better. The shark jumped around the first episode of "Pillow Talk." I wasn't even aware of "The Divorced Life," or "Strikes Back." TLC is either airing this franchise or shows about people getting pimples popped, families with too many kids, or people who fail after weight loss surgery. They may want to revamp their programming.

We need to follow more mail order brides. More trashy. And more people showing a genuine struggle with being in a new country.

I moved to uk to be with my now ex husband.. in the earlier seasons I could feel what they feel. How hard it is to exist in a totally new world with no source of income.

Now a days it feels like actors. Just another show.

I didn’t watch the latest season because it just feels like wannabe influencers and obvious that the partner abroad only wants a visa. The last season I really liked was the British one because it felt similar to how 90DF used to be and had normal, every day looking people.

I haven't watched the original 90 Days since Miona, Jibberish & Emily were debuted. Tried again w/90 Day The Other Way & it was okay at the beginning but it just seems like maybe these seasons are lasting too long? Not sure but the franchise has definitely jumped the shark. Bringing the same people back over & over isn't helping. Bringing the most hated back isn't helping either. I'm not a hate watcher and it seems like TLC wants us to hate watch. No thanks.

It really is a shame, especially for someone like myself, who only watched the show because I was going through the visa process with my husband. I was excited to see genuine couples who were going through what we were, and every season I watched, hoping they'll bring authenticity back. Instead, we get Angela and Big Ed.

I used to be so active in this sub but the last 2 seasons of HEA, the season before this last one’s TOW, last season’s 90 Day, Pillow Talk, and The Single Life have all kept me from being here. I just didn’t really watch those seasons or fast forwarded through all the people that are boring. Even this most recent season of TOW, which at least had new people, I ended up fast forwarding couples like Gabe/ Isabel (I’m happy they’re happy but they were so boring to me) and Danielle/ Yohan (literally nothing new, same drama every single episode). I only watched one part of the Tell All and was put off by Tim/ Veronica being there and the whole thing just seemed like a waste of time.

HEA and The Single Life are the worst offenders imo. I am sick of the repeated cast and storylines. They should never have people one for more than one season on that show. Absolutely ridiculous and diminishes the whole novelty of the premise. I truly hate when this show becomes the cast’s job. People like Natalie and Angela need to be sent into oblivion not given a platform to think they are TV stars. What a mockery of marriage, of long distance couples, and of genuine people waiting for visas for family reunification.

Remember 50yo Mark prenuptially marrying 19yo Nikki but only to replace his ex wife?? He bought her the same car, lived in the same house, and she even looked just like her! This show used to be so good.
