This is the classic case of “hot girl gets crush on uncool loser doesn’t find her attractive”
Thais is used to being the spicy Brazilian and assumed that John would hold open all her doors beg to be close to her and tell Patrick how much she’s out of his league.
Instead he burps around her and doesn’t pay her any attention. It’s infuriating for her, why can’t she crack him the same way she cracked Patrick?.
