Me and my friends have a 2 hour love fest of Ang Lee’s Sense and Sensibility on my One Man in Possession of a Podcast podcast episode:
Looking at how all the Marvel Movies now are so formulaic, this movie is and does feel both nostalgic and fresh.
Some of the shots, the editing, made it look like a literally comic book. It was weird and everything about it was, truly massive, even the drama and acting was arch.
It was in some ways the first comic book movie, it was a story that wouldn't be out of place in a 70s Hulk comic.
Between this and the Speed Racer movie, don't even get me started on that one, I feel like most people are generally missing the scope and vision and sheer drama and fun of Ang Lee's Hulk.
