The reason I’m asking this because he wasn’t part of the film crew for Disney Pixar’s Elemental and he is Directing this Sci Fi movie for Searchlight pictures which is also owned by Disney called in the blink of an eye.

I'm relistening to the Brad Bird miniseries, and during the Tomorrowland episode Andrew Stanton came up.
If Stanton gets to direct another live action film, they should do a mini on him.
What do you guys think is the chance of him doin another live action feature, though? Looks like he's doing some tv, would that increase or rather decrease his chances?

Similar to the current Musker and Clemens series, Stanton would provide an insight into Pixar throughout the years. Given how Stanton was one of the core Pixar guys having a major hand in writing/directing the early films, this would allow the two friends to cover many Pixar films without doing a Lasseter series.
While Pete Doctor is another good choice, he has only directed four films. Plus, he doesn't have any bounces and I find that filmmakers with a zig zaggy arcs are more interesting than those who just have success after success.
A Bug's Life (1998) - Fascinating film in that outside of 90s kids, no one ever really talks about this one. There's also the fascinating controversy with Antz opening around the same time.
Finding Nemo (2003) - One of my favorite Pixar films that arguably cements the studio's reputation for quality and telling stories that make you cry.
Wall-e (2008) - Part of the ambitious/experimental era of Pixar. One of if not the last films to come of the infamous lunch where Toy Story, Bug's Life, Monsters Inc, and Nemo were brainstormed.
John Carter (2012) - A massive bounce.
Finding Dory (2016) - Following a major flop, Stanton goes back to the Pixar and does a "one for them".
Potential Bonus Episodes:
- Short Films - i.e. Luxo Jr.
- TV Episodes - Stranger Things; Better Call Saul; Legion; Tales from teh Loop
Saltier Than Crait is a place for Star Wars fans to engage in conversations about the current state of the franchise.
