Andre Reed

My little brother is the new(ish) owner of the great, Thirsty Buffalo. He's hosting an Andre Reed meet & greet, where $20 gets you entry + signed poster and picture with him (he can't sign personal memorabilia, some weird NFL rule).

Would love for some IRL time with the fine bills fans of reddit, so I'm going to cover the first 20 redditors Andre Reed autographs (entry). Just tell the bouncer your reddit handle and you'll get the free poster / autograph. Then enjoy some beers and wings as we root against any AFC team with a remote chance of beating us out for a wild card spot (+ any to help our strength of schedule).

Note: Broncos fans are welcome, as we sympathize with your current situation.

Dont know if this fits here but thought It was best, sorry if that's the wrong flair, I've never posted here before.

Here's a little backstory and the story of what happened, if you're not interested, I'll leave a TLDR at the end :)

Okay so, I used to be in the Boys & Girls club a few years ago, and I like reading, so the club staff invited me and a few other kids to take part in the "Read with Reed 83" program. Now here's the thing, I was never big on sports plus I was young so I didn't even know what was happening, as far as elementary school me was concerned I was just going on a cool, special field trip. So every other kid there was intentionally trying to get to go, so they could see Andre Reed, so all the football or sport kids were decked out in buffalo Bill's merch while I had nothing. I felt embarrassed so as an artsy kid i decided to draw my own Bills merch to show support, I drew a little sign and held it up in the crowd of small children. I guess he saw it, so basically I got pulled aside by his agent or something? I don't really know, some nice lady in a suit pulled me aside from the other kids in my group, and told me that she wanted a little video of me and my sign. I held it up and said my name and stuff, it was short only like 30 seconds but I was very happy, since all the other kids got a few seconds to say their name then it moved to the next kid, so I felt special. I got to talk to Andre for a bit then he signed my sign, then next thing I know a man in a suit that people cheered for walked up to me and shook my hand then signed it too. Then another import guy signed it as I awkwardly stood there as people keep talking to me. When I got home I was pretty nonchalant about the whole experience because I barely understand what just happened with my little elementary school brain. We framed the sign and it's been hanging up in my room since then. Sorry if this is long, I'm rambling. If formatting is bad sorry, I'm on mobile

TLDR: Drew a sign at the "Read for Reed 83" program and got it signed by Andre Reed and some others :D

All right gang, got an Andre Reed today for the winner of the contest. Redskins and Cowboys play tonight. Challenge is to GUESS THE PLAYER WITH THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF RECEIVING OR RUNNING YARDS. To be clear, don't pick a quarterback unless you think he'll have the highest number of rushing yards or he pulls a Brady and splits out wide a bunch and racks up the receiving yards. Guess a player and a number of yards, one post only, no edits or entries after kickoff. Good luck!

Edit: if no one happens to guess the player with the highest total I'll use a random number generator to pick a winner.
