Buddy of mine lived in Louisiana for 10 years and recently moved back home (to Kansas). He mentioned that he misses the Cajun sausage selection there. I wanted to surprise him and have some authentic stuff, but I know next to nothing about Cajun food. If anyone orders sausage, any place you recommend?

I live in northern Georgia and its difficult to get authentic cajun ingredients outside of crazy shipping prices. I'm traveling to Louisiana in the coming weeks and looking to stock up on meats to bring back and would like to know what brands people prefer. The only brand readily available here is Savoie's though I did find a specialty grocer about two hours away that stocks Manda.
EDIT: For those asking, I'm traveling in on I12 from Slidell through Baton Rouge then I10 and stopping in Lafayette.
