Hi!
As the title says, looking for recommendations on some really good aguachile!
I haven't been to many spots where they offer this dish.
My favorite spot was Mar @ DTSA 4th street, but they shut down. and I LOVED how they had a mango habanero version of aguachile there but sadly don't think I can find another place that does it like that.
I also liked Cha Cha's aguachile but it's made with ahi tuna and is $15 for a small plate.
Bonus points if they serve is raw. I don't mind if the lime "cooks" the shrimp a bit, but I prefer my fish fresh out the sea lol.
If we can keep it around Orange, Tustin, and Santa Ana, that would be great! But if you think it's worth a trip anywhere else in OC, then drop it down in the comments.
Thanks!

Gringo here. Had aguachile for the first time in Northern Mexico a few weeks back. Need it again. Anything good here in Denver?

It's too hot for warm food, so I have recently become obsessed with aguachile. What is your favorite? So far I have tried:
Mariscos El Faro (Highland Park) - My favorite. Extremely fresh, shrimp fully raw, flavorful vegetables. Expensive.
Mariscos 4 Vientos (Boyle Heights) - Have red and green; tried green. Delicious and fresh, but sauce had more lime and had "cooked" the shrimp closer to a ceviche level. Still really good.
Mariscos Jalisco (Boyle Heights) - Only has red. I love their tacos dorados but this was disappointing. Sauce was too sweet and shrimp could have been fresher.
