In this weird season, with the pandemic and tight schedule, it seems like having nailed cheap players instead of non-playing fodders is a way to go.
With 4 premium mids I was looking for nailed 5th midfielder that is cheap and can get the occasional points.
I've personally owned Lookman already for 5 GW's until the horrible panenka attempt against WHU which caused me to lose patience with him. It was very frustrating to own him and hope for some points since he was not really playing well, as well as the whole squad.
But, just after I shipped him, Fulham started to play surprisngly well, and against the tough opposition too (Everton, Leicester, City, Liverpool). Lookman started to look (pun intended lol) like the most dangerous guy on the team which stats prove.
He manage to return in the last 3 of 4 matches, blanking against City only. In that period, he is averaging 2 key passes per match along with 2.5 shot attempts.
He passed my eye test as well, being very fast and crafty with the ball, Lookman caused many problems on the wing for every of the last 4 opponents and everytime he has the ball, Fulham is starting to look fairly dangerous.
Fulham has some good fixtures coming with Brighton (twice), Newcastle, Soton, Burnley and WBA in the next 9 GW's.
To conclude, Lookman is 5m midfielder, who is the most dangerous guy on the team that is not afraid of anyone. Considering his form and fixtures, he seems like a bargain.
And he is not on penalties anymore, so no more -2s lol
