The Mariners had 17 hits overall and are now tied for first place in homeruns.
Lind is currently in A-Ball hitting .585 with a 1.455 OPS. Of course, it's A-ball so it doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things but he is a proven major league hitter (the only reason Walker is still with the team) and hit .303 last year. He's killed righties his entire career and Austin kills lefties, it sounds like a perfect platoon until Bird is back. Gleyber looks fantastic both at the plate and defensively so I don't really see Walker ever getting regular playing time at 2B again.
I'm sure Walker will figure it out with another team, but I think enough is enough with him. If you want a proven major league hitter as "Bird insurance" and just a good bat off the bench, I'd rather have Lind up right now who's also actually a first basemen and not just faking it like Walker has. Do you guys agree with me or do you think Walker is going to get out of this funk eventually?

Dae-Ho Lee had yet another great day at the plate, but this has been long coming. Simply put, Adam Lind has been awful this year. And as the LH half of a first base platoon, he is getting far outperformed against Right Hand pitchers by his platoon partner.
DHL vs RHP: 153 wRC+
Lind vs RHP: 78 wRC+
This is simply unacceptable production from any position, but especially from a platooned 1b. And because Lind bats against the more common RHP, he has far more PAs than DHL, 177 to 121.
And just to add a little more to the wound that is Adam Lind, he has traditionally been a terrible fielder at 1b, and that is true so far this year as well, while DHL has actually been an above average fielder.
Now, it is not wise to completely throw out years worth of data, and for his career Lind has hit RHP very well (127 wRC+, 135 wRC+ in 2015) but he has shown no ability to do that this year, while DHL has torn that shit up. I'm not suggesting the team DFA Lind, but he should be relegated to a spot starter and a bench bat, and he certainly shouldn't be pinch hitter for Lee on a day he is 2/3...
Dae-Ho has shown enough to be given the chance to start every day regardless of pitcher. He has been one of the best bats on a team that is one of the best offenses in baseball, while his platoon partner has been hot garbage. It's time to go full blown DHL, and if he can continue to hit RHP, we can free up a roster spot that Lind is taking up.

Why no real love for Lind? In ESPN leagues he's only owned by 42%. Kendrys Morales is owned by almost double that and they both have sort of similar stats.
Lind:
Runs: 28
HR: 11
RBI: 39
BA: 291
Morales
Runs: 37
HR: 9
RBI: 48
BA: 291
Although Lind doesn't play against lefties, he seems like a very decent fill-in for 1B, DH, or UTIL.
Does anyone else like him? Or am I alone in this?
