Hi Reddit! I’m Jonathan Zeszotarski, Ph.D. – Research Associate Director supporting ZYRTEC®, a leading brand for relief from indoor and outdoor allergies. I’m here to answer anything you want to know about seasonal and year-round allergies. I am a scientist living at the Jersey Shore and working just north of Philadelphia. After graduating from Lehigh University with a Ph.D. in physical chemistry, I began my career in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry developing pain relievers for cats, dogs, and horses. After a short time, I switched to helping people and have spent nearly 20 years focusing on over the counter medicines. I have been working on ZYRTEC® for the past 9 years. As an allergy sufferer myself (I’m allergic to everything!), I take pride in working for a brand that provides relief for me, my family, and so many people. Whether outside kayaking, fishing, or golfing or inside hanging out with my dog, I rely on the medicine that my team and I have developed to let me live the life I want to lead. Ask me anything!
