Otonashi wakes up in the afterlife to find out he has no memories of his life before death. Desperate to survive in a war that could yield another unfortunate fate, he joins the SSS in the battle against Angel, whose very mission is to destroy all inhabitants of this afterlife. The last rewatch for Angel Beats! was six years ago, and I'd love the chance to watch it with everyone. It's got an amazing mix of (sometimes dark) comedy and more emotional moments packed into it, with a caste of memorable characters and some really good music.

In the last rewatch the two OVAs were inserted into the season rather than being watched after - for those who have seen Angel Beats! before, do you think that would be a better way to schedule things? I admit, I do prefer the idea of ending with the last episode and special epilogue, I'm just not sure the OVAs will fit in properly.
