I got this clip from his stream:
He spends more time on different techs on his stream and answers all kinds of questions.

So this may be a bit rambly, but I’m gonna try to explain it in the clearest way possible. So, I’m trying to implement amsah teching into my gameplay and from my understanding, it works like this: when you get hit with a horizontally launching move, you can hold diagonally in and down, hold the c stick down to asdi and tech at a good timing to tech roll in and stop the momentum of getting hit. Example of this is recovering on stage with marth, and getting spacie back-aired. This has worked pretty well for me. But, the problem comes in with teching higher launching moves, like Marth up-b in the amsah tech training in uncle punch. For me, the first method doesn’t work and I have to hold away and in. The problem with this is that I tech roll away instead of in, so I still get thrown off stage. I’m a bit confused on which one I should do

Hey guy, my name is Quaff. Top player from the most prestigious region to ever do it, Alberta. Decided to finally get around to learning how to Amsah Tech properly in Unclepunch, and came across something I haven't seen before when trying to test out the aerials for cancelling the momentum afterwards. Apologize in advance if this is already known, but I definitely haven't seen it before.
At high percents, after getting the Amsah tech, it seems as though you have one frame where your character is still on stage and actionable. I'll link three different instances of it below, but during that one frame, you can throw out a grounded move. While the move is active, your character is unable to leave the ground, so your momentum won't cause you to fly off of the stage. As you can see in all three videos, it doesn't set your momentum to 0, but it does continue to fade for the duration of the move. One frame inputs are very achievable as we all know by now, and it's entirely consistent as the roll animation isn't affected by percent or anything.
I'm entirely unsure if this stops working once your momentum is too high, like if you were at max percent getting hit by a sheik fair for example. Dunno how to use 20XX properly but I'm sure it'll be easily figured out if this is real. If it's already common knowledge then at least this can be a PSA :)
Edit: Also worth mentioning that you can option select with Fsmash. Since you'll be looking to fair once you fly off the stage, if you cstick forward to Fsmash out of roll, miss the one frame window, and cstick forward again, you'll fair regardless of if you input the Fsmash too early or late in order to cancel some of your offstage momentum.
