Just finished playing my first Mosaic game, and found it incredibly fun! But, we both had tons of gold and nothing to spend it on. We maxed out our military in an arms race and still had 30-40 gold to spare with absolutely nothing to spend it on. Are we playing the game wrong?

The first sequel to Myst, Riven, was released in 1997. While the entire game of Myst was on one CD, Riven was a PC game that came with 5 CDs. I remember being so excited when I started playing it, but quickly getting SO frustrated because each time you had to move to 1 of the 5 worlds, you had to eject one CD and put in another. And there were clues on each of the five worlds that all worked together.
I see that Riven is now on sale on Steam right now for $2.39, and will buy it and have a toast in celebration of them taking that painful 5 CD game and making it into one smooth sailing download! 😍
