So I have finally finished binge watching all 11 seasons of American Horror Story, and this is my scandalous ranking

Hotel
Double Feature
Apocalypse
10) Double Feature 11) Apocalypse
saying double feature is better then anything is pretty scandalous.
I understand I’ll get hate for it but it felt like the show really grounded itself and matured for the better. Gino is my favorite character of the show and that devastating ending haunts me. I was also obsessed with the aesthetic.
I kind of hope they keep the show in this sort of direction, even if they do add supernatural elements.
I think the reason I didn't like it that much, other than the fact it was extremely light on horror this season, was it's basically the story of "The Normal Heart." The whole season, I got the feeling something felt eerily familiar, and then it came to me.
You should watch "The Normal Heart" (2014). Also directed and co-written by Ryan Murphy.
Hotel has an amazing aesthetic, along with Liz Taylor, but I was very burnt out on ghosts at that point, especially the way AHS does them. I love the twist with the killer but didn’t like the wife character at all. My biggest turn off was there were so many sex scenes and, like, I got it. Move along.
