The soundtrack that was on the website was EPIC. Does anyone have it?
Hey everyone reading this, I remember it was about a year back when I discovered the website for Revival, and I don't exactly remember how. It took me awhile after reading so much about the ambition behind the project to realize that it had already been shut down. It disappoints me because it seems like no one has succeeded at breaking the WoW clone trend in the MMO"RPG" genre. There are several other projects I can think of, but many of them, like Chronicles of Elyria and Star Citizen, are all very far off from completion and may very well never be released as a finished, as-intended project. Then there are others, like Mortal Online, which had some great ideas and attempted to do something different with the genre, but failed due to the abysmal polishing the game received, as well as the engine being horrible. Although most hope for the actual "RPG" part of the loosely thrown about phrase "MMORPG" has disappeared, I'd still love to see a return from you guys. I understand how much budgeting and other resources it takes to design a game of this level of ambition, but I think it is possible to complete and would very likely be one of the best games ever as of now. I think that better advertising for publicity would probably help the game a lot, as it took me a very long time to discover even while actively searching for something of the genre. I know of many people who would love to play and very likely invest into a game like this if only they knew it existed. Even if it's nearly impossible to pull off at this point, I'd still be happy to get any responses from people who are just passing by, I need hope for this dying genre. Thanks for reading my rant, and I hope this project can eventually make a return when the developers have the means to make another attempt.
