Al-Farouq Aminu said the Bulls “look like they’re trying to do everything on a high level.” Cited intensity in practice he watched and all the touches of the practice facility. Said he plans to contribute same things he has throughout his career.

Aminu is set to return on Thursday and will be coming off the bench and be limited to 20 minutes. Is he worth the pickup in a 10 man h2h Points league? What kind of numbers should we expect ROS?

Currently balling out right now. Averaging 1.8 3PM, 1.2 Steals, 1.3 Blocks with some decent percentages and low turnovers. What do you think of his role in Portland and also the sustainability of his production?

Al-Farouq Aminu is currently owned in 50% of Y! leagues, and I believe this is way too low! Lets take a quick look at his last 4 games;

He’s always been a big part of the Portland rotation, averaging 31 minutes for the season. A big part of why he’s so under-owned this year has been injuries and his terrible shooting slump at the start of the year (35.1% FG for the season so far).

As a career 42.7% shooter, this was never going to continue. Since coming back from his injury in December, he’s been getting back into form and has been great, including today (8 pts, 4 reb, 1 block halfway thru the second vs Cleveland at the time of writing this).

I believe Aminu should be owned in every 12+ league. His ability to produce across the board gives him top 100 upside. He’s one of those quality underrated fantasy producers like Thabo Sefolosha and Mo Harkless. Check if he’s on your waiver wire (50% chance he’s there!) and nab yourself a solid producer for the rest of the season.

Dude had an off season this past year, a far cry from his playoff explosion in 15-16, but still put up good rebounding numbers. So I was just curious on what people think here, as you watched him much more than I have.

Think he's going to maintain this and be worth an add?

What are your guys’ takes on him? He’s ranked pretty high in Yahoo 9-cat, as he’s supposed to be averaging pretty good defensive stats, but he’s essentially done nothing for me upon his return.

Does this have to do with a smallminute restriction? Any insight from somebody who watches the Blazers?
