Almost two years ago, I started to get deeper into Superman by watching the movies, watching the shows and also collecting the comics.
All-Star Superman was recommended very often as a must have and was among the first ones I got for Superman.
After I was finished with it I was dissapointed because while I thought it was good, it was not what I would call one of the greatest comics of all time.
I much prefered For All Seasons and a few others and didn't have any interest in rereading All-Star.
Flash forward to today where I have gotten much deeper into the lore of Superman; read more comics, watched more movies and shows and just made myself more familiar with this character and everything surrounding him.
Went through my collection and picked this up, thought "Why not?" and just read it.
I don't think my opinion on a comic has changed this drastically before because I was having such a good time and the pages flew by.
Absolutely loved it this time around and can firmly say it's in my top 4 comics of all time now.
I don't think I have anything new to add because everything else has already been said.
In my opinion it is an absolute masterpiece though I would never recommend it for beginners.
