A Sustainable Path for Our Fanediting Community
MOD

With ongoing shake-ups, like the recent takedown of The Fanedit Network, and older events like Disney's takedown of public link sharing on r/fanedits (The Rise Of Skywalker Ascendant), the tides keep changing. It's clear we need to rethink how we share and discover fanedits. Many viewers appreciated the ease of finding great edits, but that convenience often relied too heavily on the intense labor of just a few people and wasn't always the safest route.

It's time for us to cooperate in an organized way and build something reliable and lasting. It doesn't need to be a huge task for each of us, but if everyone chips in a bit, we can create a stable and safe resource for our hobby.

For the creators out there, please share information about your new releases on Fan Edit Central. It's a straightforward tool that keeps our community safe and makes sure your edits are showcased in one location for people to enjoy, without containing risky links.

And for those who love watching these edits, this new way of doing things means you may get to interact more with the creators. Alternatively, some editors might opt for automatic email replies, and that's totally up to them!

Let's keep supporting each other and make sure fanediting remains an art form accessible to everyone. r/fanedits will contribute by focusing on one safe and reliable resource. Can't wait to see what we all create together!
