All-Star Superman, decent adaptation, okay film.
I was looking forward to this one because I read the comic a little while ago and really enjoyed it. But it didn't quite work for me as a movie.
The good: they did well translating the comic artstyle to animation, music was great, and there wasn't any drastic changes to the source material. Everything else was meh.
The bad/meh: so like I said I like the source material, but it has its own quirks trying to adapt it to a movie. For one the original run is 12 issues long. So turning it into a 70 minute movie gives it some serious pacing problems. Things just kinda happen without much breathing room, so it kinda feels exhausting. Also storylines had to be cut for runtime, and some of my favorite parts of the story didn't make it. My man Zibbarro never shows up. Another issue is that Grant Morrison often likes to add some crazy sci-fi elements into his stories and they just kinda happen without much explanation, it's worse in a movie. I was just going "sure that might as well happen." They also cut out Superman's degrading health. So it lacks a sense of urgency for his final tasks. The action is just very okay, it lacks any flair. Finally voice acting is fine/disappointing. James Denton sounds too monotone playing Superman.
Final thoughts: It's a great story told in the comics. You can get the digital comic for free with Amazon prime. So give it a try. This movie is fine if you desperately hate reading. Although I think it would work as an animated miniseries.
As Jeremy Jahns says: "Not going to remember in T-minus 1 day."
