For anyone on ps5, do you know what, if any, control it is to see a more in depth explanation of the bar on the top of the screen with all of the resources? Like where the metal, wood, food, and etc is? I see people on pc being able to just hover over it with the mouse but was wondering if we had the same ability in any way? Thanks in advance!
So basically what the title says... I started a new game, my first game, and my survivors won't do what im telling them to. I have a crafter who i told to make some spears but she just stands around with the question mark or goes and transports things or something different all together. It's like this with all of them actually. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong because I click on the survivor I need, then click and tell them what I need them to do but they just ignore me and do their own thing. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance ?️ Playing on ps5

I'm a Big rimworld player, juste started this game and love it, juste thinking when others players start construct house for pawns and stop them live outside.
oh you started new game and have been playing 30 seconds, here is multiple lightning storms, with strikes that only directly target survivors, which permanently gimp them forever. Amazing gameplay 10/10
I've been playing for a couple os days an keed taking rain every day, is there a way to like create clothes resistent to rain or maybe an umbrella?

Hi all, looking for some help as I ran into a problem. I need to make emergency rations so I can make a survival kit so I can explore. However, the game will not let me make rations and says I have “not enough resources.” The only resources needed to make rations is cooked food (I have 22) and linen (I have 87). I made a new stove just to see if it was any of my settings, but I still can’t make rations. Ang advice? Thanks!
Hey, just picked up the game a few days ago. Just had a few questions I couldn't really find the answer to.
Does placement of wind turbines matter? And is there a way to see the wind on a particular tile?
Where do I get energy crystals for power cells? I don't see them on the map to observe or harvest.
Any other useful tips?

Crash Landing on Sobrius is brutal. Made it to the first winter surviving attacks from scores of Shriekers at a time just to all die very suddenly to an extreme cold snap. So busy fending off bugs, I didn't have time to make a full set of winter clothes.

I recently got this game for free, and ive really had fun playing it. but one of my survivors is sick and im not quite sure how to fix it? the tutorial made everything seem simple. i cant get the survivor to wait for healing or heal herself. im clicking triangle to try and open direct orders, but nothing is coming up? am i doing something wrong?

I was going for the insane chaos trophy and was down to one person waiting. I just had a communication for a drop so went on an expedition and an attack lined up right as I left. The attack started mid expedition and they sat there for 10 to 15 hours stationary. Even once my guy got back it still said attacking but they just sat swarming and then left. I recreated it every attack until I was rescued. 2 trophies left "solo" and "Hope not fighting"(totally goofed that first play through, too excited to read trophies I guess)
Also if you save right before leaving for an expedition the results do change both expedition and observations from Rita etc. One crash site had energy crystals and no survivor, reloaded the save and had a survivor but a useless animal discovery. This applies to alot. If it's a thin smoke type it'll change whats at the camp being mangled body to a live survivor or monster attack etc, if it's an explore it will massively change once from cruise ship to hunting spot.
Scavenge drops change also.
However the drops and offers from a called ship did not seem to change.
