Hello, I plan am considering upgrading to the 7700X bundle:
I'm seeing things about the ram having compatibility issues (having to reduce its speed), and the mobo having slow boots/ram issues as well. Is this still common or were a lot of those issues ironed out in the Bios updates? Worried about having the parts fail on me due to these reasons.
Anyone who has purchased it what are your opinions on it? Is the Ram/Mobo just not up to par with what they should be?
My current specs:
GPU: GTX 1080 -> plan on getting a 6800xt
CPU: i7 8700k
Mobo: Asus-Prime Z370-A
PSU: Evga G3 Supernova 750w (80+ gold)
Cooler: Corsair i100v2 -> plan on getting Noctua D15
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 32 gb (4 x 8gb - 3000mhz)
Case: NZXT H500 -> plan on getting Lian Li Lancool 216 (non rgb)
Obviously, this bundle will replace my ram, CPU, and mobo.
Side Note: The parts i have listed as plan to upgrade, if I combo those w/ the bundle do you think my 750watt psu will hold up? I know the 6800xt recommends a 750 watt, unsure how much the newer cpu comes into play with it.
