Adam Copeland makes his way to the ring. He first says it's a huge deal to be in a ring with Tony Schiavone but then tells him to hit the bricks. The crowd chant 'ADAM' which he says he's never heard before and that he loves it. Copeland mentions how he had to retire in 2011 but in 2023 he's here and in an AEW ring.

There are several reasons as to why he's in AEW. Firstly, the AEW World Title would look good around his waist. Secondly, he has plenty of new matchups to get through - lists Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega, Miro, Powerhouse Hobbs, Jay White and Juice Robinson.

He wants to challenge himself but the main reason he came to AEW is because he asked his daughters 'What does dad do?' and Lyric replied 'You should go and have fun with Uncle Jay'. He calls Christian Cage out to the ring.

Copeland explains why he didn't join Christian at WrestleDream - Christian targeted Sting, the man that Christian used to get his hair cut like and idolised. But he also did it because he knows Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne will drop him when they don't need him. So Copeland is here because it's time for the first time since 2011, the 'first time properly in over 20 years' for himself and Christian to team together again. He asks to end their careers together as a team.

Christian asks for the mic, hugs Adam and says 'Go **** yourself'. (Have to censor it otherwise it goes for approval but the word was not censored on television).
