Are the south park games actually good games, or just good south park games? Are the south park games actually good games, or just good south park games?
Question

I pretty frequently find myself googling things like "best rpgs with character creation" or "best turn based rpgs" and I have been very deeply surprised by how often I read lists that rank Stick of Truth and Fractured but Whole very highly. I've also seen them recommended her and on other subs as well.

I don't have a whole lot of strong feelings toward South Park. Growing up it was literally the only show I wasn't allowed to watch (which is weird because my family frequently watched Family Guy together), I've seen like 2 complete episodes and I will say that as a teenager I thought they were hilarious.

So, with these games being heavily discounted right now, are they good, genuinely funny RPGs for someone who is disconnected from south park? Or are they just really good to south park fans?
